Apartments am See

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We loved the apartment, swimming in the lake, hiking, and visiting the beautiful Giessbach Waterfalls. Your apartment was the perfect home base for exploring Brienz and the surrounding area. Thank you for your hospitality—we hope to return someday!

Nothing—we had a wonderful stay.

The apartment was clean, well furnished and bigger than we were expecting. It was right down the street from a grocery store and directly across from the lake. Beautiful!

Good locatio. Nice scenary with the lake. Enough room for 5 people. Good equipped.

Only one toilet.

But for the scenic location provided by mother God in Brienz and elsewhere nothing appreciable is worth mentioning about the apartment.

The property did not have a washing machine. We were provided with one towel and one hand towel and on request the abrupt and sharp answer from the host was we must use one towel only for 5 days. And that needed no more explanation. No care given for personal hygiene with the hot weather prevailed. There was no air conditioning and the name sake little cheap desk fans provided no appreciable air and we ended up sweating during sleep and needed to sit in the balcony. The communication from the host needed a bit more friendlier approach than treating us like aliens. Mind it we are all doctors in the family and the stay provided a tough patch.
