Clean and comfortable

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We stayed for a couple of nights, and it is in a great location for exploring. We chose this location for dark sky photography, and it was perfect, although the weather did not comply. Tea, coffee and milk were there on arrival. There is a good pub a few minutes walk away. Will stay here again.

Paradise in Wales - for real.

Jane and Richard are wonderful hosts. The apartment is incredibly clean and comfortable, it has everything you might need for a short stay or indeed a longer one. Not a sound at night, super comfy beds, a little table outside to relax in the garden… if only this holiday had never ended!

Gwilym's stable - a delight

Gwilym's stable was a beautiful accommodation for my fiance and I to celebrate our engagement. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well kitted out with everything we could need. We were well looked after, the pub was in walking distance and the surroundings were so beautiful. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful location, plenty of parking, quiet and peaceful, lovely friendly hosts. Lots of nice places to visit within easy reach. Comfortable accommodation with everything we needed for our stay. Clean and spacious with a smart TV, which was great for us when relaxing in the evening. Plenty of facilities to make catering for ourselves easy. Many thanks to our hosts for their kindness.

We would definitely come here again .

The area was stunning ,we live in the fens which are very flat ,Gwilyms stable was very quite and the host was lovely ,We went to a sheep sale on our last day and were able to leave our trailer at the premises while we had a couple of days to go site seeing .

Perfect stay in Powys

The apartment is quiet, cosy and well appointed within: tidy, well-lit and equipped with care. The owners are very welcoming and know the area well, so full of ideas for visits out. The situation, just off the main road between Builth and Llandovery, is perfect as a base for exploring the area, whether you are a walker or keen to visit local artists, castles and cute towns. The WiFi is good in the sitting room, and the TV channels include amazon prime. Although it can sleep three, it's really best for one or a couple.

Exceptional

Great location as we were trading at The Royal Welsh Show Ground and was few minutes drive. And lovely to head back to a warm flat The flat was spacious and well equipped with all creature comforts, the Flat was bigger than expected and we slept really well as its so peaceful there. Highly recommended, will definitely be first choice if available to book again if we are attending more events in the area. The stables were clean, well presented and had everything you need for a few nights away.

Lovely location, very well equipped appartment, Beds were comfy, and we were provided with lovely big soft fluffy bath towels, Milk was in the fridge, with sugar, coffee, tea and very nice homemade welsh cakes in the kitchen, which is a bonus when you first arrive. Lovely location with excellent views, very quiet and peaceful. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would recomend.

Not a criticism, but as the apartment is second story above the stables, there are a few steps to access, which may be worth knowing if you are not good on steps.

Beautiful, clean spacious apartment in a stunning rural location. The apartment is kitted out with everything you could need for a stay. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with crockery, cutlery and utensils. I wish I had stayed longer and will definitely return.

Large self contained apartment, fabulous views, very comfortable bed, large lounge and bedroom. Kitchen with everything we needed, host left Welshcakes for us, a lovely touch. Host friendly and accommodating, we wanted to stay an extra night, and although the apartment was booked, she let us use another cottage on the site. I would 100% recommend

Very relaxing ,will definitely stay again.

We didn't actually eat breakfast in the B&B as we stayed in the stable,where I cooked breakfast for us.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.We had tea and coffee and some Welsh cakes left for us which was a lovely touch. Lovely comfortable bed,clean towels,shower was lovely and hot,we had great views. Jane and Richard were very welcoming and friendly,there's not much Richard doesn't know about the area,which was great as he provided us with a map,and info.etc.

We found no negatives with our stay at all.
