Very convenient location, especially for families with children: just a few minutes’ walk along the river there’s a farm with llamas and a fantastic café with the best view of the waterfall and plenty of activities for kids — a ramp for bikes and scooters, two trampolines, an absolute fairy tale. there is a playground 3 min walk.You can reach the supermarket in a couple of bus stops, but I preferred to walk. The bus stop is right outside the door.

You will be staying in a shared house in separate apartments on the top floor. The staircase is quite steep, so carrying large suitcases is not very convenient. The windows face the road, so you can hear some traffic during the day, but it’s not too loud. There is a view of the valley from the balcony, but it’s largely blocked by the next house.

Good location, clean, pillows leave alot to be desired by US standards.

We would have liked to have had a bread toaster that worked. It was promised but it never materialized. The dryer did not stay on. You should have it checked out. So we hung dryed our clothes.

Truly amazing!!!

This is a very nice place with all the items needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. The location was great and the views amazing. It was extremely clean and having a washer and dryer was really nice. The balcony has amazing views. I love this place!

Beautiful stay in a lovely location

The location is brilliant. When you see how overcrowded with tourists Lauterbrunnen is you are delighted to be staying away from it and close to a very nice little shop and bistro where we had dinner two nights running. It was quiet and comfortable and had a bus stop right outside the door.

Great apartment in a beautiful location!

This is a great apartment in the heard of the Lauterbrunnen valley. Be sure you get the detailed packet of information for how to find the property and get the keys from the lock box. Great, detailed instructions. It had a nice balcony which you could actually see one of the larger waterfalls from, amazing views. Easy parking for our rental car and was a short walk into town. This was a great location for launching all our hikes in the valley. We shopped at a COOP grocery store in the village and the kitchen was well equipped. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus also some sleeping space in the loft. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the unit, with soap provided, which was very helpful. There is no air conditioning in the unit, but fans were provided and even though we were there during very warm days, it did cool down nicely at night. It's a great apartment, do not hesitate to book it!

The owner provided meticulous and thorough instructions on getting to the property as well as any additional information that one could need. The chalet was very spacious, had wonderful views, was quiet, and extremely clean. It offered anything we could possibly want during our stay.

Breathtaking views, fantastic location and clean apartment. Perfect for groups.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cosy apartment. We enjoyed the breathtaking views with our morning coffee. The area was pleasant and quiet, with the majestic sounds of cow bells at night time when we left our windows open.

I would suggest that the host could leave extra plug adaptors for EU/ UK visitors in emergencies. We unfortunately brought the wrong plug adaptors (completely our fault) but we managed to find one in the apartment to share for the stay. This might help future visitors to double check the plug adapters before arriving in Switzerland!

The kitchen was lovely, but there was only one beat up fry pan, but other than that it was perfect for our group of four.

Breathtaking views! You can't beat the location.

Location was perfect! Exactly what we needed as a family of 5. Extremely clean and that is a high priority. Roomy and spacious and all the cooking utensils we needed. Short walk to small store and restaurant. Bus stop right out the front door. Our family felt relaxed and comfortable this trip which was a huge positive factor compared to staying in Zurich last year.
