The perfect place to stay in Lauterbrunnen

The apartment is situated in a very beautiful location overlooking Staubbachfall, Spissbachfall and Buchenbachfall. It has easy access to the bus stop and close to the Lauterbrunnen main train station. The apartment is spacious and clean. It had all the necessary kitchen equipment and also a nice collection of spices. Check in process was very easy and all the necessary information was provided by the host after the booking confirmation.

Great Stay

The apartment is very clean and Chris the host was very helpful and responsive to our needs. The apartment is located 100 feet from the falls. I recommend this place to everyone visiting the Valley.

No air condition in all of Europe. I wish with global warming Europe considers at least having ceiling fans in the apartments. Once one bath room for six adults, it gets a bit too overwhelming in we mornings when you have to leave early.

Great view, location, and accommodations. A winner!

The location of this apartment was excellent. It was within walking distance of restaurants and other local sites. We enjoyed being in a spacious apartment halfway through our trip and having the ability to do laundry. A surprise bonus was being next to Camping Jungfrau with a great restaurant and grocery store. Both the location and the views are spectacular. You can't go wrong with this booking.

Gorgeous views and well equipped apartment

Fabulous location with views of multiple waterfalls. Spacious with 2 bedrooms and 1 loft. Fully equipped kitchen was convenient for cooking breakfast. Convenient parking by the apartment. Large balcony with furniture. Close to walk to town.

Air conditioning was acceptable for early May, but would be hot in the summer. Only 1 bathroom.

Beautiful stay at Lauterbrunnen

Placd just like pictures, perfect location and views were just spectacular in this area. There is a very nice walking trail near the beautiful river. Highly recommended. Although didn't get a chance to meet Chris, but the instructions were easy and straight forward to get into the apartment. There were a couple of kitchen and bathroom appliances not working, but he replaced them immediately the next day! The apartment was well heated, even more than my liking but it was perfect for the kids.

Something about pillows in Switzerland, too soft. The apartment graciously offered a laundry and a dryer, but the dryer didn't work, and leaving it running for half a day almost didn't help and ruined a few t-shirts. But, in all fairness, the option did help to wash clothes then we just dried them upstairs on the lined safety guard. Prepare to lift luggage to 2nd floor and bring power plug extensions if you're not from Switzerland.

apartment not adequately prepared; owner rude when asked why only one of three beds were prepared for our stay

extremely dissatisfied. Only one of three bedrooms were prepared for our stay. When I called owner, he was rude saying they had prepared for 2 persons . When I said that we were not a couple but friends, he said I should use the linens off the bed that was made to put on the bed in the second room. Only 2 towels were provided for a four day stay The 3rd “bedroom” is up a flight of stairs that is doesn’t have a hand rail, is open, unsafe/dangerous, and is not up to building codes in many countries (see photo). I think this is one of the rooms that is considered a “king” bed by owner but is actually 2 uncomfortable, twin mattresses put together. ( see photo)The room with queen bed is so small that the bed has to be pushed against the wall just to have space to walk into the room. The dryer works poorly. There is a small drying rack attached to the heated (non- working) towel rack. unfortunately this is located right in front of the toilet and we both received facial injuries heading our heads on the sharp edged rack. The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs and doesn’t have a elevator. The owner seems to be trying to maximize profit more than providing a good experience for guests.

We loved the view and location.

When we searched from a family place for 6 adults and 2 kids under 10, we were given the choice of this place but it lacked space for the 2 kids. The staff brought more bedding but the kids had to sleep on the floor. It should not be label for more than 6 people.

The location and facilities were perfect for a family. The wine and chocolate were a lovely touch! The views were beautiful. The host was extremely organised and the check in/out was very easy.

The beds were a little hard, but the linen was good quality. The apartment is quite warm during the summer so perhaps fans might be a worthwhile investment :-)

The location is great - just a few stops on the bus from the train station, or a 20 minute walk. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Self check in was very easy.

10am check out is a little early. It would have been amazing to have a raclette or fondue to have that ultimate Swiss experience.
