Stunningly beautiful appartment!

Beautiful home with lovely and responsive owners. The sauna with a view of the waterfall is a once in a lifetime type of experience.

Just a few small issues like dead batteries in electric candles, and could not find bin bags for local regulations. Dishwasher full from last guests. But overall the place is amazing.

Fantastic location with stunning views

Fantastic location with stunning views. The apartment has a great modern look and feel, with a new bathroom and kitchen that both feel fresh and well maintained. There was lots of space for our family to spend time together, while still having enough room for everyone to enjoy their own space. The location was excellent, with handy transport links to both Wengen and Interlaken. Having a convenient bus stop just outside the apartment made getting around very easy. The views from the apartment were a real highlight and added to the overall experience. Overall, a great stay in a brilliant location and we’d happily return.

The only downside was noise from the apartment above, which could be quite loud at times. We’re early risers so it didn’t affect us too much, but lighter sleepers or those wanting a lie-in might find it noticeable, especially early in the morning. One small suggestion rather than a negative: offering an optional welcome basket would be a great addition. If arriving late and the Coop is closed, there wouldn’t be an easy way to get basics like bread or milk for the first morning.

The only negative was the temperature in the apartment, we adjusted the radiators, but there was no thermostat in the 2nd bedroom which made it incredibly hot. Unable to have the windows open due to the church bells every 15 minutes

The stay was short, but magnificent

Apartment itself was amazing. Everything is new and well maintained. How do you recommend it for this?

There are two little things I didn’t like so much. One is the very late check-in. This is understandable but advising that there is no early check if no one was there before is a bit harsh I believe secondly, I would think there are too many instructions I kind of feel like I’m in kindergarten sometimes. I understand there are people that come from all throughout the world and that this may be the reason as cultures are different. But for me being from here, it’s a little overboard.

Gorgeous views, great location, wish our stay was longer!

The location was perfect, especially after we realized how easy it was to take a bus to the train station. The views were magnificent and the apartment was lovely. Would highly recommend!

The only thing that would have been better is if there has been some sugar to add to the coffee. We couldn't get the coffee pot to work (user error??) and we had to make some instant.

Newly remodeled, very clean, storybook-like views of the waterfall from the porch and the bedroom! A personal sauna with a view of the waterfall in the sauna. Beautifully stocked kitchen, super cozy couch. Overall just a perfect 10/10 dream getaway!

We would LOVE to stay here again, and our hosts were so kind and gracious. The view and chalet were unmatched!

We loved the location, the views, the hosts’ kindness, and the vintage chalet!

Not 100% sure the sheets on the pull out couch were completely clean, but they were fine, and the waterfall wasn’t lit the night we stayed, but this didn’t have anything to do with the property itself. We were just looking forward to the nighttime view, but the daytime view was BEAUTIFUL!!!

Beautiful views but apartment was lacking some necessary items.

It was located right near the waterfall with a beautiful view

It was extremely difficult to find. The pictures online do not really look like the real house. Too many instructions. Had to search through many messages to get the needed information. No hairdryer, no washcloths in the bathroom. Restaurants in the area close before 9 at night and it was difficult to get dinner that night.

Beautiful views of the waterfall...although those views are everywhere. Suitcase storage was a plus

It's somewhat hard to find. (Directions such as " take the bus to the museum and bingo ... you're are there" would have been very helpful). No hair dryer. No sugar for coffee. At that price, it's the little things that can make a difference

Great Location with out of world views. Easy access via bus from Lauterbrunnen station. Great rooms and amenities. 5 min walk to staubach falls.

The bathroom door lock using key is not ideal For families with children as it is little hard for them to operate. No elevator so had to pull each luggage up the stairs.

A wonderful place to stay in Lauterbrunnen. The home is spacious and comfortable; the perfect base to enjoy walks, hikes and quick train rides to villages nearby. The beauty in this area is astounding; absolutely breathtaking - loved having my morning tea on the balcony while viewing the majestic waterfalls. Experts believe that the inspiration for J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings were taken from this spectacular region of Switzerland.
