About this apartment rental

This is a spacious 110 sqm, middle floor, 3 bedroom apartment with spectacular views of the Lauterbrunnen valley and famous Staubbach falls. The living area has a full width south facing balcony for sunbathing or eating outside and captures the view of the snow capped mountains all year round. The master bedroom has a sloping pine ceiling and looks to the Staubbach waterfall as do both other bedrooms and kitchen.

The apartment has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area has spectacular views from all windows and leads out onto a large private balcony.
There is a master bedroom with a queen sized bed and TV.
A second bedroom with a double bed, and a third bedroom with two single beds. All bedrooms have views of the Staubbach waterfall.
The kitchens is fully stocked for easy home cooking with a fondue and raclette set.

The entire apartment has under floor heating. There is a lockable parking spot.

There are no chalets to the side or directly in front of ours and it is not by the road so it is quiet.

Whether your choice is Summer or Winter you can be sure of lots to do, or just relax with the fantastic views from our balcony.

Our favorite part of the apartment was the lovey view of the mountains. We also enjoyed the sounds of the waterfall and river right outside the bedroom windows. We also enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed several home cooked meals at the large dining room table as well. The location is nicely located right outside of town and the bus stop is also very convenient to the apartment. Richard was very easy to communicate with as well.

Our stay in Lauterbrunnen was remarkable. This apartment is outside of town on the stream - we woke up every morning looking at the waterfall out of our bedroom window. We had 7 of us stay here and the apartment was very well furnished for beds and recreational space.It was clean and fabulous. Location, location, location!

We had a fantastic stay at Arven! The apartment was perfect for our family of 6 adults. The property was clean and comfortable. The location and views were amazing. Lauterbrunnen itself was quite busy when we were visiting so we really appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was to stay just outside of the center. From the apartment, we could see mountains, three waterfalls and watch cows and goats grazing. The bus stop is so close. It made it very easy to get in to town. Richard was a pleasant and attentive host. We would definitely stay there again.

We were thrilled with this property. Gorgeous views, right on the bus line, walkable to town, quiet, and clean. Spacious rooms and living area, large balcony, very well stocked kitchen. The owner was there for any questions that needed asked and any situations that arose. They even left us a chocolate bar at check in! We would for sure stay here again.

We loved staying here. The view is incredible. We were a group of 5 girls and It had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen is well stocked and havimg a washer and dryer was a huge bonus. It is about ~15 minute walk to the train station but a bus does come right nearby the property. The store at the nearby campground was super convenient. Check in and out instructions were very helpful and easy to follow. We appreciated all the recommendations provided as well. The host was really responsive and went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Richard's property was perfect for what we needed. Very close to the train station to take us to the top of Europe. Also very close to the tram to take us skiing. Looking for a ski trip, i recommend Richard's property.

The apartment was perfect - as described, very clean, and well-equipped. Richard was easy to contact and happily helped us get oriented in the apartment. We took the ski bus and tram up the mountains - in true Swiss style, everything functioned well and was on time.

We love staying there.It is so comfortable and convenient for hiking in the area. Easy to visit Wengen, Murren and Interlaken. We even took a day trip to Zermatt. The owner and property manager are very responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous location. Stunning view. Easy access to bus stop, very close to Trummelbach Falls and Staubbach Falls. Also close to one of the gondolas up to Murren. Truly we could not have asked for a better place to stay for our family of 7.

Beautiful apartment in the most beautiful place. In the apartment there is everything you can imagine, the kitchen is very well equipped.. the beds are comfortable . There is an amazing view from all the windows. Great location you can just go outside and start hiking. The host is super nice. Was available from start for everything we needed and for every question we had.

Absolutely terrible. The entire experience. Richard is there for you on whatever you need. The apartment itself can’t be beat. It’s hard to complain about doing dishes when you are looking at a waterfall while doing it. You won’t be disappointed.

Bonjour, Nous avons très apprécié le logement. fonctionnelle et suffisamment grand pour 8 personnes. Le seul point négatif est l'emplacement de parking. En effet pour un appartement 8 pers on peut s'attendre du client qu'il vient avec 2 voitures. Le garage est très bien, mais pour la deuxième voiture nous l'avons mise sur la place devant le garage sur un emplacement interdit, dommage.

The apt was clean and had plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved the balcony and beautiful view. The Wiedstubel restaurant at the nearby campground was excellent. The place is an easy walk to the village and hiking trails

This is a great apartment and terrific location. I don't think any of us knew about the convenient campground with store and restaurant, so you might tell guests about it. We never met or dealt with the manager so I can't really grade her but since the manual says to contact her for a visit we got a little worried when she didn't respond until the last day. The manual also mentioned a second set of keys but there weren't any. So basically I think you should revise the manual.That stated, great place, great location.

Richard was a great host and provided some local information before our trip. The appartment was very comfortable and it had everything we needed (4 days, 4 adults). The kitchen was fully equipped for our nights in and the balcony has a great view down the valley. We had a wonderful time skiing in the area and would definitely book it again if we come back to Lauterbrunnen. Thanks again!

The apartment is comfortable, modern, clean and the views from the balcony are great. It is in a great location, only 10 mins walk from Lauterbrunnen town centre. An ideal base for exploring the Lauterbrunnen valley. There is a path next to the apartment that goes along the river for walks up the valley, perfect for waterfall viewing. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
