We loved Chalet Aargovia. Keen to return.

We loved staying at Chalet Aargovia. Wengen is beautiful. The home has an amazing view. It is perfect for families. The host Alex was very easy to communicate with. He was quickly able to answer the few questions we had. We found the walk to and from the station enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was lots of space for our family.

We knew before we booked that there was no washing machine. Alex very helpfully directed us to a self service laundromat in Wengen and we could easily sort out our washing.

Relaxing and great stay with some of the best views one can imagine

Location was nice. Not too far from town center, yet a nice location to relax and not be disturbed from the town crowd.

The alarm going off in the lower level below the unit, but the owner was kind enough to address the issue once I informed him about it.

The house is too good for two of us. It's nice and clean and located in the best area， the view from the balcony is so great! The owner Alex and his family are so nice and we are so happy to have them as friends. We are very looking forward to stay in Chalet Aaegovia again.

One of the more the dropping views that I have ever seen in my entire life. We had to force ourselves off the deck and into bed because all we wanted to do was gaze at the view. the owners were great, and gave us good advice on hiking activities.

Memorable stay in a beautiful Swiss chalet with a gorgeous view.

Chalet Aargovia is a beautiful property, which is very well maintained. The property is well furnished and has a captivating view of the mountains, Wengen and Lauterbrunnen from the balcony. Although the property is about 12-14 min walk from the station, but it is very well worth it. Alex and Trinh were great welcoming hosts and brought us some fresh eggs from their chicken too. We would definitely return if in the area.

Breathtaking view from the balcony, Alex was very helpful and he and his wife even gave us some fresh eggs from their chickens during our stay. It is a large house with plenty of room, about a 10 min walk from the train station at Wengen. Very quiet at night and we would love to return one day

Mesmerising view of Jungfrauch and Lautterbrunen by the balcony - I could stare at the view for hours with coffee or beer in hand. Alex spends a lot of effort to decorate and personalise the house to be nice and cosy.

The property is slightly far from Wengen station - struggled with huge luggage up and down the slopes. Due to the old age of the property, the wooden structure gives a squeaky sound when you walk around. The bedroom beside the living and dining room has limited privacy due to see through doors, but the two other bedrooms upstairs are fine.

Comfy home with best view of Jungfrau!

The view from the balcony was thrilling! We can see Jungfrau big and clear on the left hand and on the right we can see Stoubbach Falls, this is the best location in town! We also love how the place was decorated, it was so comfy and tasteful that we really feel like home sitting there in the living room.

Gracious hosts with unbelievably spectacular views from balconies!

Simply spectacular views, the best of any of 15 places we have stayed at over the past 5 weeks! Alex and Trinh are communicative hosts. We arrived on a Sunday evening fairly late and they offered us their dinner and Trinh made us wonderful appetizers! They also gave us fresh eggs from their chickens several mornings!

Would love to have a clothes washer in an apartment of that size. They have everything you need for housekeeping but somethings should be updated over time. Alex provided map coordinates and a photo to get to the apartment but they didn’t work well on my phone. It would be helpful for old codgers like me to have written directions with street names when you get off the train in Wengen to get to the apartment.

Superb

Very nice and helpful host. Spacious chalet with phenomenal view! Fully equipped. For young folks without children, the walk to the station is actually beautiful, and the peace and beauty of the more remote location is a definite advantage. Tasty free eggs from the host's chicken!

The host kindly offered to give us a ride to the station whenever possible. When it was not possible, we found that the local taxi service was generally overwhelmed (and quite unfriendly) and we had long waiting times. As a family with a small child and grandparents this turned out to be stressful. To be sure, this is a shortcoming of the services in Wengen - not of the host.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time in Chalet Argovia. The area is breathtaking with a view of the valley and the mountains. Alex is an amazing host, he and his wife prepared many special treats to our family, a lot of attention to the details, making us feel very welcomed and making sure we had all we needed. The house is very spacious and cozy, and very nicely decorated (loved all the details that tell the history of this house). A perfect place for a stay in Wengen!

Fantastic time in the Alps

Everything about the chalet and owner. The fantastic views from the balconies, the comfy layout and character of the chalet through to every appliance in the kitchen and elsewhere you could ever need. The location is perfect being just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Wengen ensuring you had peace and quiet. Alex the owner was always on hand and really helpful with anything that we needed to know. If you are looking for a perfect getaway in the Swiss Alps then this chalet and location is perfect. Will we return? 100% yes.

Everything! Especially breathtaking view from the balcony, where you can chill with a cup of delicious coffe. Chalet is run by super friendly owner - Alex. Place was very cosy and clean. Additionallyit was supplied with every home appliances you need. We will be definitely coming back!
