Wengen is a classic Swiss alpine village and scenery from this cottage is unobstructed nature at its finest.

Great location. Astounding views. Easy check in. Comfortable place. The walk to the chalet from town means peace and quiet. The building is older but in good shape. The balconies with their jaw-dropping panoramas are made even more incredible by the sounds of cowbells, streams, and breezes.

Hard to find this chalet - no number on the house. The pictures on booking didn’t have even one photo of the house outside, so it took us a while to find it (even when we were right next to it, we were not sure, if that’s the house). The owner told us, that we can’t enter the house past 10:00 pm, even though it was a self check in (the key was in box), so we were in a rush from Zurich to make it before 10:00 pm (our reservation was paid in advance).

The view is perfect. The host is nice.

The floor is squeaking and annoying. The equipment is old. The chalet is away from station because it's up and down the hill.

Very comfortable stay in a great location.

Fabulous location with great views from both balconies - about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Wengen and very peaceful. Spacious chalet with large lounge and eating area and comfortable seating. One of the bedrooms has fantastic views over the mountains (with a balcony from that bedroom). Chalet was immaculately clean.

Two of the bedrooms are a bit dark - one (with the ensuite bathroom) doesn't have windows so can get a bit hot.

A wonderful quiet and peaceful stay for families with stunning scenic views.

The chalet was the perfect retreat with stunning balcony views over the valley. It was an amazing location with quiet privacy from the town center and only a short walk from the main station. Loved the cozy nature of the home and the beds were super comfortable!

The only disappointment was that the kitchen utensils and cookware were quite used and dirty.

It’s a quirky old chalet with amazing views!!!

The views were amazing. Appreciated having 2 balconies. Very clean and well appointed kitchen to prepare meals. Hosts were very responsive.

One bedroom was an interior room with no windows so it was warm in June, no fans. The property is quite quirky but the views and great kitchen made up for it. Plenty of a Space for a family of five. Fans would be highly beneficial in summer.

The accommodation is homely and spacious. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. TV entertainment is well provided. You can happily stay-in to enjoy the outdoor sceneries right in front of you

This place was like a complete dream and I loved everything about it!

We loved absolutely everything about this property! The location and the host Alex was so helpful and cool and very easy to interact with. He was also very knowledgeable and gave us wonderful history about the area. We would definitely recommend!

We had a great time exploring around the area. The apartment is conveniently, located to many hiking routes and the center of the village.

Nie polecam! Pobyt w tym miejscu to była jedna wielka pomyłka. Obsługa dramatyczna – nikt nie odbiera telefonu, nie odpowiadają na wiadomości. Kompletny brak szacunku dla klienta i jakiegokolwiek zaangażowania. Czuję się bardzo rozczarowana podejściem właściciela. Do domku można dotrzeć tylko pociągiem i następnie taksówką – dojazd samochodem jest niemożliwy, o czym nie zostaliśmy wcześniej poinformowani. Cena zupełnie nieadekwatna do jakości – było drogo, a standard i czystość pozostawiały wiele do życzenia. Zdecydowanie odradzam ten nocleg. ————- Not recommended! Staying at this place was a complete mistake. The service was terrible – no one answered the phone or replied to messages. There was a total lack of respect and care for the guest. I am very disappointed with the attitude of the owner. You can only reach the property by train and then by taxi – it’s not accessible by car, and we were not informed about this in advance. The price was completely unreasonable considering the quality – it was expensive, and the cleanliness and overall standard were very poor. I strongly advise against booking this place.
