Tatty, run-down, expensive, but available.

1. It was in the centre of Killkee. 2. It was available in August, while everywhere else was booked up.

It was a bit tatty, run-down, and really expensive. It comes across (and, most likely, is) as somewhere in receivership, where the receivers are trying to wrangle as much hard cash as they possibly can before off-loading it.

Great location, nice staff but far too expensive for what you get (or don't get)

Location was the only positive

Very expensive, no facilities i.e restaurant or breakfast facilities, Old rooms with bad lighting, no shower curtain or door on shower. Way too expensive, especially since breakfast is not available. There should be some voucher for breakfast in the town, it would at least make it more valuable.

Grim place not a functioning hotel just some basic rooms in a former hotel with no amenities.

No breakfast available tiny kettle in room with just two paper cups two coffee sachets two tea bags and fake milk for a two night stay. Were we supposed to reuse the cups?

This place is like a ghost hotel, dark and not at all welcoming apart from a pleasant receptionist. Our room was clean but small and cramped, TV only worked for half the channels listed. There’s no parking apart from a sister premises about half a mile away and it’s overpriced. Would never stay here again.

Was ok for what we needed

The Guest accommodation was close the everything, the beach, the pubs and food. They advertise on Bookings.com as having a bar, but no they don’t. The staff were very friendly, I must say the bed was reasonably comfortable.

There were paper cups for a cuppa, they had only four tea bags for two nights. The milk we did get more and also had to ask for teabags. There was no change of towels or replacement of anything. I feel for the price paid the service could be a lot better. We have stayed in quite a few places over the years and this is the only one to have paper cups, which weren’t even replaced.

We ate in restaurant on both nights of our stay food excellent. Rooms were clean and airy only downfall my elderly parents were with us and the hotel didn't have a lift

Lovely hotel for a break away

Warm welcome at reception on check on, all receptionists very polite & friendly throughout the stay. Had dinner in the evening and was lovely and service was great. Room was spotless & had a corner room so great views. Overall highly recommend.

Only that breakfast is not a option but we just got some on the Main Street so was not a huge deal.

Excellent hotel in perfect location with very good staff

Great location, the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night. Will be booking there again.

The only thing I had issue with, was the shower door didn't close properly. So the bathroom floor would get very wet. But that is a very minor thing in an all round lovely hotel

Clean and comfy by the ocean

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, great food in the restaurant and location is perfect.

No breakfast served, couldn’t turn off radiator so room got very warm and we didn’t have a key for the front door so at night we often had to keep knocking for someone to let us in as the doorbell wasn’t working.

Seaside staycation

Very nice hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful! Stones throw from the sea and all the pubs/restaurants. So nice for a night get away. Breakfast was amazing
