Great staff & location

Owners were very nice. The location was great, very close to the armada and a quick drive to a supermarket and other pubs/restaurants.

A breakfast offering would be great.

Good value for money

Large room in a quiet location with good facilities and friendly and helpful hosts. We chose this place as it was within our budget and slept 3 adults. Short drive to bars and restaurants. Best pressure in the electric shower!

The stairs to the room were a little steep and the sloped ceilings not great for tall people.

Hosts were really great! We were attending a wedding at the nearby bell bridge hotel and hosts offered us a lift down free of charge and with zero hesitation - thank you so much for that again! Room was comfortable and free parking available also.

We highly recommend this inn and the wonderful hosts.

Noel was warm and welcoming, greeting us at the door. They offered to dry our wet clothing from a long motorbike ride in the rain. The room was perfect with a cozy sun room to enjoy the stormy evening.

Great location

Spacious room in great location right on Spanish Point a short walk from the beach. No dining on site but The Armada hotel is around the corner has a great restaurant for dinner and an excellent coffee shop.

Quite pleasant.

The room was nice and clean and everything supplied. Owners even gave us a lift to our party that we were attending.

No breakfast! When I booked it said Barkers Bed and Breakfast but I think this is a Booking. Com issue as it now says Barkers Accommodation!

OK for one night but way too expensive for what it is.

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and spacious

I was on the top floor and the last staircase is extremely steep and narrow. One needs to take extreme car coming down the stairs to avoid a fall and going up with luggage is a challenge. I had read about the friendly staff but I didn't see any of that. I was checked in given a key and told I was at the top of the second stairs. I never saw or heard anyone after that. The view from my room was of the caravan park which surrounds the house. In the far distance one could see some nice scenery Part of my room seemed to be used as a storage area. I didn't use the shower but when I checked in I was told that if it wasn't working to hold the showerhead down low to clear any air lock! The water pressure in the taps was very poor. After paying €110 I expect not to have to fiddle with the shower to get it to work. The room is spacious but on one side the ceiling slopes so one has to bend over to get to the kettle for tea or coffee. The accomodation is about 2km outside the town and while walkable it is advisable to make sure you are visible walking at night on the very narrow road. Very expensive for what I got.

Perfect.

Location was perfect for what we required, room was spotless and very comfortable, our host was extremely helpful also and dropped us into the town of miltown malbay without hesitation! Great accommodation, great service & great hospitality.

Great location not far from Milltown Malby or Armada Hotel. The owners could not have been more friendly, nor do enough for me (e.g., offer lift into town). Comfortable lodging, great for short stint stay!

Handy accommodation beside the hotel. Noel was very polite and helpful and gave us a lift to the hotel for the wedding.

Conveniently located close to the Armada hotel. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of towels and the room was clean. Host was friendly and helpful.

The garden view double room had a very small bathroom.

Lovely comfortable homely house. Phil was lovely and drove us to wedding venue and then to collect my car the following day. Really friendly. would definitely stay again if in the area and would highly reccomend,

Great location and Phil the owner was a lovely lady with great knowledge of the local area. She gave us a great recommendation for great food and drink ten minutes walk from the b&b.

very accommodating owners, we did not arrive until nearly midnight and it was not a problem, the owners obliged and stayed up until we had arrived safely.

Quiet and peaceful perfect if staying for a weekend

The venue was in a perfect location to stay for a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet night sleep. The owners were really nice helpful and gave me a lift down the road.

Didn't serve breakfast however still was great price and I could get breakfast closeby.

It was only ok.

Its located close to Spanish Point. It had an extra room attached with a fridge and seating area.

It was located down an extremely narrow road barely room for 1 car. When you drive into the property there is barely room to park and its quite stressful thinking how your going to get out the next morning. There was no breakfast. tea,coffee and biscuits are provided and a fridge. When I commented there is no milk I was given a small jug of milk. The milk was frozen solid the next morning.
