Great location and our room has a peek view of the ocean. We arrived on a stormy evening but as soon as we came inside the stress was gone. The staff and the place were welcoming. The next morning we explored the nearby beach before enjoying a hearty breakfast. We really liked the place

From start to finish, the family were so welcoming and friendly. It was very good value for money, spotless clean and very comfortable. Master Eric was exceptional. He was so professional and helpful. He is a credit to his family. Supporting small family run business is very important, so make sure you book in here!

The accommodation was beautiful, as were the grounds! We got in later than expected, but were graciously met by a very nice man (son of the owners) who welcomed us and provided great information and lay of the land. Breakfast was lovely and the owner, Noel, so nice to meet and interact with. We really could not have asked for more here! Have travelled Ireland extensively and found Lahiff’s Bay View Guest House top notch!

Fabulous!!!! All positives. You won't find any negatives. Brilliant place to stay. FABULOUS SEA VIEWS!! Friendly obliging staff. Terrific breakfast, and plenty of it. Huge rooms either excellent amenities. Excellent value for money. Do yourself a big favour, go chill out in one of the best places we have been to.

Stayed as we had a wedding in the armada. Ideal place to stay really. less than 10 minutes walk and about half the price of the hotel. views were really nice. welcoming family. quiet and comfy.

No hooks on backs of doors, difficult open window without climbing on bed and windowsill, lack of hanging space for dresses. Having to pay in cash without warning at booking I feel it is overpriced

Beautifully appointed luxury accommodation in a very friendly family-run guest house at a wonderful location on the Wild Atlantic Way. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were delicious. We'll be back!

Relaxing and peaceful getaway, walking distance from the attractions

The reception had lovely artwork and information about local attractions. The bedrooms were immaculate, very comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous with good water pressure and plenty of space. The breakfast was delicious, we had a full Irish cooked for us with great service by the family. We were well looked after by the staff, especially the young man who checked us in, doing the business proud.

Excellent - we will be back!

Had a wedding in the locality, we were less then 10 mins walk away from the hotel the wedding was on in. We found the guest house fantastic, greeted with a smile by a very professional young gentleman. Room was very clean with good facilities - a very functional en-suite with a fantastic shower! The full Irish the next morning went down a treat. Overall we couldn’t have got better value for our stay!

Family operated business, we felt very welcomed, easy complementary parking, well organized, really clean, it was quiet, beautiful view and surroundings, restaurants & pub in walking distance as well as ocean access. We experienced a short and really relaxing perfect stay.

A truly welcoming and comforting stay!

We stayed at Bay View Guesthouse as we were attending a wedding at the Armada Hotel, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. We met both the father and son who run the guesthouse — they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely lovely people. The room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up perfectly for the day. The location was also ideal, about a 10 minute walk from the Armada. Would definitely recommend!
