Wonderful

Our host Bernadette was kind and sweet and funny and she went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Its a great location across the street from the ocean most rooms have ocean views. About a half a mile from the Cliffs of Moher. We would absolutely 💯 recommend her to anyone looking to stay near the Cliffs!!!!

Cozy, clean, comfortable! It was perfect!

Bernadette was absolutely delightful. She exuded the Irish hospitality we were looking for and her home the Irish charm we were looking for. She was so kind and helpful, even did our laundry for us! We had a cozy room overlooking the ocean! A beautiful view.

A comfortable place to stay with an authentic friendly welcome.

The entire experience - it wasn't just somewhere to sleep! The warmest, authentic easy welcome on arrival, the attentiveness of the host, the offers of tea coffee scones. The no frills relaxed vibe, the earthy flagstones Nd wooden rafters, in a premises with a stunning vista and wonderland westerly light. What Bernadette offers is Old School Irish hospitality - at its best. Staying two nights we got to chat with Bernadette about sorts - and leave having made a new connection. The house has been offering hospitality for many years now so it's an older build and a lively cosy place to come home to and relax in.

Perfect location, very comfortable and cosy rooms - and on top the host Bernadette - absolutely caring and willing to help you with all your wishes - the breakfast is excellent and you have a wonderful view onto the bay. Bernadette makes your stay a true and special experience ! Really great!.

Incredible view. Terrific location, not far from Doolin town and not far from Cliffs of Moher Visitor Center. Lots of great books about Ireland in the nice sitting area. Great parking.

Home sweet B&B

Not overly priced, and nothing fancy, but Bernadette definitely made us feel so welcomed and at home. The location was excellent in terms of not being on a packed downtown street, so parking was not a problem. The breakfast menu/ options were varied. The first morning, we Americans were unprepared for all that a full Irish breakfast entailed. She quickly made our breakfast plates which were overflowing with deliciousness- fried eggs, bacon, sausages, brown pudding, blood pudding, toast, brown Irish bread, and then offered her delightful berry scones. Needless to say, there was way more on my plate than I could eat, but hubby was able to finish what I could not. So the second morning, I had scrambled eggs, yogurt, blueberries and a banana. And, of course another scone! Bernadette certainly overdoes it with her kind and warm heart. And she directed us with suggestions of pubs in town serving great food and pints.

There was nothing to dislike.

Bernadette was a mighty host, and made our stay more than perfect.

Never had a better host, we loved staying. The beautiful scones for breakfast were my highlight, whilst my wife Susan loved sitting in the shared front room watching the sunsets.

We were greeted with a smile, scones, tea, wine, and good conversation. We would happily book another stay.

I really like our host Bernadette. She was enthusiastic and willing to go above and beyond to insure her guests enjoyed their stay. Good camaraderie with our fellow travelers. Active people with plans to get out and hike the cliffs of Mohir and explore the Burren. A little weather wasn’t holding anyone back.

A bit dated, but Bernadette more than compensated for any minor short comings. Good bed and a warm clean shower.

A great little B&B - well situated with a great host

If you’re looking for true Irish hospitality, Ramblers Rest is a gem. From the moment you arrive, Bernadette makes you feel as welcome as the name suggests. She is warm, genuine, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Whether it’s a fresh pot of tea after a long journey, a good chat laced with laughter or helpful tips about the local area, she goes out of her way, in every way. A great base for the Cliffs of Moher or a day on Inishmore, with easy access to fantastic pubs with nightly music in Doolin. Bernadette is a gorgeous hostess!

Great host at a great location

Bernadette went out of her way to look after us. We appreciated her lift to the cliffs and the fact that she even came back to pick us up. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast as well as the tea, coffee, and scones that she offered us throughout the day. I also enjoyed a can of Guinness that Bernadette had placed in the fridge! The sunsets were beautiful.

Wunderbare Lage an der Atlantikküste

Lage top mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Die Cliffs of Moher nur etwa 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und Port Doolin mit Boot zu den Aran Islands in 10 Minuten. Auch die nächsten Ortschaften mit guten Pubs innerhalb dieser Reichweite. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Obergeschoß mit Blick auf den Atlantik und die freundliche Hausherrin gab uns noch einen Raum für Koffer und Garderobe dazu, damit wir ausreichend Platz hatten. Frühstück ausgiebig irisch und flexibel, weil auch vor 08.00 möglich. Unsere Hausherrin hat uns auch immer über Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen, Pubs und sonstige Ausflüge informiert.

Die Fenster waren undicht und haben gezogen und die Handtücher haben etwas muffig gerochen (bei dem Wetter wird die Wäsche wohl schwer trocken)

Le B&B est très bien mais Doolin ???

L'accueil et les discussion avac la propriétaire. Beaucoup de B&B vous accueillent et c'est tout. Là, on pus échanger.

Le B&B était parfait mais la grotte de doolin à 18€ pour voir une stalactite est à éviter (en comparaison aux grotte de de Lozère en France). Quand aux falaises... 30€ pour 1h de bateau dont 45 minutes de liaison... bof. Je passe sur le chemin des falaises désormais interdit sur une grande partie.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit toller Gastgeberin

Die Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieterin hat uns sehr gefallen. Die unmittelbare Nähe zu den Klippen von Moher war sehr von Vorteil für Wanderungen in der Gegend. Es gab ein sehr gutes frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Der Frühstücksraum diente auch als gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum für die Abendstunden mit Blick über die Klippen in gemütlichen Sesseln, mit Gratisgetränken und Kamin. Danke noch mal an die tolle Gastgeberin.

Gute Unterkunft in toller Lage

Herzliche liebe Gastgeberin, bei der man sich sehr willkommen fühlt, hätte uns sogar zu den Cliffs oder nach Doolin gefahren. Wir sind die ca. 2 km zu Fuß zu den Klippen an der Strasse entlang (leider gibt es keinen Gehweg). Doolin ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen, am Doolin Pier sind die Seaweed Bath und der Burren. Also tolle Lage!! Parkplatz ausreichend vorhanden vor dem Haus, gutes Frühstück.

L'accoglienza straordinariamente familiare. La padrona di casa è una persona merae generosa che ti fa sentire a casa e cerca di aiutare in ogni modo. Inoltre rientrando la prima sera abbiamo avuto la sorpresa di trovare la camera rifatta col cambio asciugamani. E la merenda sempre disponibile. Anche il nostro piccolo si è sentito a casa. Il fuoco acceso la mattina che dovevamo partire presto ha riscaldato ancora di più l'atmosfera. Soggiorno delizioso.

Außergewöhnliche Herzlichkeit - hier ist man als Gast wirklich willkommen

Die Unterkunft war wirklich super und wir wurden von der Gastgeberin sehr herzlich willkommen gehießen. Man merkt wirklich, dass es der Gastgeberin sehr viel Spaß macht, den Aufenthalt bei ihr zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis zu machen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt außerdem sehr schön und man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer (wenn das Wetter mitspielt). Die Betten sind super. Ich glaube es ist schwierig unsere Begeisterung in Wort zu fassen, um es für einen Leser nachvollziehbar zu machen. Wir sagen in jedem Fall nochmal ganz herzlich Dankeschön für alles.

L’accueil de Bernadette était tellement sympathique ! Nous avons eu de vrais échanges, des discussions et rigolades. C’est une personne ouverte et curieuse qui en plus est incroyablement serviable ! Nous nous sommes fait la bise à la fin et avons regretté de devoir la quitter! En plus, nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur l’océan - un grand extra!

situation idéale pour ce que nous avions prévu de voir (iles d'Aran et falaise de Moher). accueil et accompagnement de Bernadette, d'une gentillesse extraordinaire. qualité de l'hébergement: chambre avec vue sur la mer et les iles d'Aran (dont nous avons profité malgré un temps tout à fait irlandais qualités d'hôtesse de Bernadette de nouveau pour les petits déjeuner, vraiment au top!!! facilités de stationnement.
