The location was ideal. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
If parking was not available near the entrance there can be a bit of an uphill climb. I suffer with my breathing and found this difficult. If there was another entrance then no one informed us.

We enjoyed the peacefulness at night, the hotel was spotless
The hotel was lovely and quiet, couldent hear anything at night which meant we had a very restful two nights, the hotel was spotless, the breakfasts were very good, a nicer bar would be lovely, dident find it very comfortable, but that would be the only thing , so we dident drink there any of the two night, I think a nice cosy bar is very essential in an hotel, the hotel down the street had a lovely roaring inviting fire
The bar area, it wasent cosy or inviting I'm afraid, there was lovely seating area during the day, but when we went down at night to have a few drinks it was closed up, dident like the bar that was opened so therefore we went down the street to an hotel with a beautiful open fire
