Consistent, Clean , Friendly , Food excellent and delicious. Perfect location to beach and golf club . Price affordable for the standard offered . This hotel never drops its standard of excellence in all the years we are going to Clare . Restaurants come and go in the general location of Lahinch and Liscannor , but Vaughan Lodge Hotel retains its standard of excellence since it opened in the early 2000 . If people are looking for value for money , with good food I. E. Excellent breakfast and dinner , free wifi , then look no further than Vaughan Lodge Hotel Lahinch .

Home away from home.

Incredible breakfast, really friendly staff. The food in general is in a league of its own. Homely, warm welcoming and spotlessly clean. Top place to stay in Lahinch,lovely and quiet for sleeping and yet the Main street and beach just a five minute walk to everything. Look forward to my next stay.

I find it hard to fault anything, just wish the beds were a little bit softer. Everything else is excellent , great showers and staff cannot do enough for you.

Perfect location to see the Cliffs of Moher

The Vaughan Lodge Hotel was an absolute gem. The outside of the Lodge certainly did not define the warmth that you found inside. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us recommendations on attractions in the area and provided a map with markings. The room we had was spacious with a lovely view. The entire facility was clean and welcoming. It is a family run business, and you can feel the thought that they put into it to make your stay comfortable. We really enjoyed the laid back, relaxing atmosphere. There is no pretense here, which is exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend staying here.

Location was superb, premises clean and tidy. delighted they had a EV car charger. Rooms spacious and clean.

Was slightly disappointed with the service at breakfast. Ordered two dishes and expressly requested no eggs on one and no yogurt on the other but both came with these items. My daughter is vegan and this is why we asked for the dairy products to be removed. However no effect given to meeting this request which was a disappointment. Expensive for what it is but everything in Ireland seems to be these days.

One of the best accommodations on our 3 week vacation.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. So glad there was a fan in the room! Eimear was very helpful with check-in and check-out, with our many questions and serving us from the bar. Breakfast was very tasty.

Absolutely superb. Friendly, helpful staff. Bedroom was large, spacious and spotless with everything you could ask for. The hotel is a very short walk to the centre of Lahinch. I will be staying here again and would strongly recommend it to anyone who is considering it as an option. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options to choose from, complemented by a range if cereals, juices, smoked salmon, cheese options, homemade brown bread, pastries etc. Excellent. Despite my minor points below, I still give this hotel 10/10.

Coffee at breakfast was not good. So weak it looked like tea. Couldn’t drink it. Also wondered why my Irish breakfast had no sausages served in it. But these are very minor things and nobody leaves breakfast at this hotel hungry or thirsty.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in - the linen and towels were fabulous and the power in the shower was fantastic.

We loved our stay. The lodge was so close to Lahinch town and beach. It was an amazing base for Miltown Malbay, Liscannor, and Doolin too to do some exploring. We stayed for one night, bed and breakfast. The facilities were brilliant. We ended up in an accessible room which was very specious and had so many features that a wheelchair user would use ie. huge shower, lowered sink, long and low shelving in the bathroom, lower eye holes in the door and lowered light fixtures. These things were so well thought out, and as someone with a sister who is a wheelchair user, I could really see the practicality of all features. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was so lovely, the best breakfast we had on our week of doing the Wild Atlantic Way. We will definitely be visiting again!

My room was spacious, comfy, and clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries, including face cloths - not many hotels have them. The breakfast was amazing, plenty to choose from, and delicious. There was plenty of hot water, and the shower was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A fantastic base if you're going to see the cliffs!

We stayed at this hotel because we were looking for a 4 starts hotel near the cliffs, it wasn't easy because most places are 3 stars and less. The hotel is charming, run by a family who really cares about details and guests. Everything was comfortable, the stay was extremely nice, and since the coast of the Ocean is definitely worth visiting, we hit the tide and huge waves of the Atlantic, it was an almost epic experience! A place extremely worth visiting. Very nice stay.
