The only problem we had was the shower took a long time to heat up we stayed 2 night and 2nd night the water in the shower was just Luke warm and following morning the water was cold so could not take a shower we had no other issues everything else was perfect .

Very central location in the heart of Kilkee. Hostess Mary was more than welcoming, and let us check in early. Breakfast was included, and it was very nice. We had a lovely room over looking the main street it is a stones throw away from the beach and the room was fine for 2 people bed extremely comfortable. Will be back again.

Location only!!
I booked a double room and on arrival I was told that it was a twin room and nothing else was available!! The receptionist wasn’t very helpful!! And blamed booking.com for the mix up!! The room was very basic and I’d say the skirting haven’t been cleaned down in years!! Shower was either very very hot or very cold….the towels were at least clean. Breakfast was a choice of full Irish, vegetarian or scrambled eggs only….the coco pops were from aldi….nobody around when checking out so had to hide the key at reception!

Dinner in miles creek bar was excellent. Location is brilliant 1 minute walk from the beach. Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was beautiful. Staff were really friendly with us and our wee dog Marley. Thanks
Could do with a wee revamp maybe that's all. Everything else is brilliant.

Location in the center of the town. Room ready and great staff. Bar and restaurant downstairs so easy to grab meal/drinks. Also have an outside patio right along the main street.
Parking is on the main street. The weekend we arrived you could not drive through the town due to a large swim event in the bay on both days. During normal times we have never had a problem finding a parking spot on the street.

Excellent location, breakfast was also excellent.
Sorry but the accommodation is in serious need of some investment, grubby tired and cheap furnishings. Worst bathroom I have experienced in a long time. Squeaky hard beds with no mattress covering. Under beds covered in dust. For €455 for a room for 2 nights Expected better.

The location was central and convenient for our trip.
It is a budget hotel but the rooms are very jaded compared to similarly priced holiday accommodation we have stayed in. In addition, our room smelled of smoke.
We wanted to exit the building before 9am to start packing our car but we were locked in. The main entrance was inaccessible so we were considering using the fire escape to leave the hotel!

The place was shabby and extremely basic. Very limited breakfast options. I expected much better for 200 euro a night.

The host was very accommodating with regard to allowing us to park our bikes in a very secure locked area.
WiFi wasn’t working in our room.

The only real positive of this guesthouse is its location, right in the heart of Kilkee. The room itself was spacious, which we appreciated.
However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired — the bathroom had black grime around the sink and brown stains on the wall near the toilet. The shower was broken, and there was no hot water on our first morning. We had to call management, which wasn't easy as they are very difficult to reach by phone or email — no replies at all.
Our second night was very noisy, with young guests smoking weed and running around shouting in the hallways. Thankfully, there was no disturbance from the nightclub next door, which was a small relief.
Breakfast was underwhelming and very rigid. You’re limited to three options: a full Irish, scrambled eggs (called “shambles eggs”), or a vegetarian breakfast. No fruit, no yogurt, and no flexibility — even asking for scrambled instead of fried eggs in the Irish breakfast was apparently too much.
Overall, a disappointing stay. A bit more care and basic hospitality would go a long way.

I felt like to be set back into the 1990’s with every thing, did I like that? Basically I can not comment on a like!
Staff was put under too much pressure, bedroom was meant for only one night. We had a twin bed room and one bed was very uncomfortable. There is still a hot and cold water tap for the sink, that will explain it all! The resection is not really welcoming and friendly ( met a non Irish young male)
Booking.com (where I made the final booking charged 168€ for a basic twin room, on their website for the same night it was 140€ ! That’s not acceptable!

The location was great. The attached pub and restaurant was nice and good value for money. We had a lovely meal there.
The breakfast was also great. Good portion size, quick and hot.
The room was basic but clean.
The towels were very small - barely wrapped around me after shower (I am not a big person) and no hot water.
We were only there for 1 night so did not have the time to let staff know and wait for hot water to be fixed. It wasn’t ice cold, but barely warm.

In the heart of the village, comfortable bed, friendly staff.
Heat wasn’t turned on before arriving so room was cold and took time to heat up. Issue with water so shower stopped working while hair full of shampoo, had to play around with it for a while to get it working again. No curtains so couldn’t sleep in as the light shown through each side of the blind. Changed to another bed in darker corner but sheets felt damp as it wasn’t close to heat source. Sausages for breakfast were tiny. Had to pay full entry to the disco next door even though I asked was there a discount if I was staying and then over heard a woman at breakfast saying she got in for free so was disappointed.

This premises is seriously good value, the room was big and spotless, no the extra luxury items aren't there but that is totally reflected in the price, the staff were really lovely and Mary at reception was so helpful getting our bike locked away safely, thank you
Really nothing

Location and value for money. The breakfast is good.
It’s basic and rooms are small but we stayed before so we knew this. It’s not a deal breaker but if you haven’t stayed before you need to know this.
