Location.
Price was insane for the standard of accommodation. Bank Holiday Saturday night in an Irish seaside village though so what do you expect.

The location is 4 minutes walk from the beach so lovely to go for a stroll before breakfast. The breakfast was outstanding kept us going all day. Service was fast and friendly. We loved that you could have a meal out the front on the patio so you could people watch because the pub provided for dinner menu.
There were a lot of stairs. The parkjng is free out front, but is just street parking.

Annette is the gem of MC. Very tasty breakfast. Lovely room and comfy bed.
Late night music gigs social buzz interferes with a good sleep on Friday and Saturday nights until 1.30am. Also the welcome at the reception desk needs to be improved. Received no smiles or warm welcome. Just business like. Higher price than other local accommodation businesses.

Good location in Kilkee but very noisy from Street traffic and road.
Very noisy, somewhat in disrepair. They need do a huge cleaning of the common areas and open some windows to make the place smell fresher.
