The Carlsbad Beach Villas were completed in 2006. The Beach Villas are 3 completely private condominiums. Units A, B & C are fully furnished short term rentals each of which have a large private 2 car garage, laundry, and sun deck. The location is perfect for the beach and Village experience. Carlsbad’s best beach voted in Americas Top 20 Beaches is located directly in front with easy access. This beach has beautiful white sand, lifeguards in the summer, bathroom facility and fresh water showers. This was a perfect beach getaway! There were 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 kids and it had plenty of room for everyone. Such an easy walk to the beach, which we all loved. Fast and easy communication with the owner. Our week we by way too fast. We would definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to the area!

I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy everything Carlsbad has to offer. In walking distance to so many fun shops and restaurants as well as the beach. A fun new restaurant every night! Fun nightlife as well as plenty of breakfast places for the whole family. Plenty of shopping opportunities for everyone. The beach is so close which makes for lots of time spent lounging! When you are ready to come back the Airbnb has a plethora of great amenities as well. The three spacious rooms with the wide open kitchen, dining, and living room and the beautiful views! The balcony is a wonderful place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee! My family and I will absolutely be coming back!

The house is well maintained and is in a great neighborhood walking distance to the beach. The bedrooms are all good size and the master is very nice. The home gets good light. There are a number of stairs to get to the main living area and two of the bedrooms but other than that we enjoyed our stay and would use this home again.

Roomy and clean, in a great location, this property was a rare find. Everything we needed was provided, anything we could want was in walking distance. The only time we used our car was to visit the Leo Carrillo Park, the sites in the city of San Diego, the trails in Torrey Pines, and the towns between Carlsbad and San Diego. The beach was down the street and the owner provided towels, chairs and a wagon. The Village of Carlsbad was around the corner from us and offered many shopping opportunities, restaurants, and even an outdoor sports bar all within walking distance. Clearly the owners make it a point to assure their guests are provided with a quick response to questions.

Very close to the beach and multiple dining spots. All rooms are sizable with separate bathrooms. The common living room/kitchen area was very comfortable.

The property has high ceilings, and is very spacious. The kitchen and living room are upstairs with two of the three bedrooms and fits in perfect. The master bedroom has a direct view of the ocean and the beach is a 1 minute walk from the property. The master bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub and shower. The stairs and bedrooms are carpeted. The location is perfect if you enjoy walking to the local stores and businesses. With a little maintenance and thorough cleaning this property would be perfect.

We’ve gone to Carlsbad for years now and love it. This place is nice because it’s close to the ramp and easier to take stuff down to the beach rather than having to do the stairs. Also close to the village. The place itself was very comfortable for our family. Needs a little tlc but one of the better places we’ve stayed at. Not as updated as some but the location made it worth it. Also liked having our own parking garage. The owners were great to work with and we’d stay here again for sure.

This is the second time we've stayed at Rene's property and the first time in unit A. The unit is very large and open, plenty of room for our family. The location could not be better. It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the unit has chairs, umbrellas, and a wagon to haul our stuff. We could also see the ocean from the patio and the balcony. Having a garage is also nice. We will definitely be back!

Location of this 2 story spacious home was perfect. We could walk into Carlsbad Village to shop & dine or to the beach w ease. As we both work while traveling it’s important that there was plenty of room to set up our work spaces w terrific Wi-Fi !! We will certainly stay here again.

About one half block from the beach. You can only see a small section of the ocean from the outside balcony. Many restaurants and stores very close by. They have beach chairs, beach umbrella, large wagon/cart to load and pull to the beach. The house is roomy with 3 beds, 3 baths. Great garage with opener. Icemaker doesn't work but there are ice trays. Two negatives. The downstairs bedroom closet has the rack to hang clothes fixed at 8 feet so we couldn't reach it. Also security lights come on and light up the bedroom all night. The downstairs bedroom is at the street and there is a lot of traffic noise at night. I would rent here again though as the location is great. I would just stay in one of the upstairs back bedrooms. The manager Rene responds to messages very quickly.

Great property. Perfectly located between the Villages and the beach. Whether you want to shop, eat or spend the day on the beach it’s only a short walk away. The condo had plenty of room and everything you need to make it a home away from home. The large driveway and 2 car garage made parking very convenient. There were only a couple of minor issues (ceiling fans and outlets not working) but otherwise it was well worth the stay. Already booked our trip for next year.

This is a nice, newer condo just a few steps from the beach in Carlsbad. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, with double garage. Very nicely decorated. Quick walk to lots of restaurants and shops in Carlsbad Village, and a wonderful walk down the coast along the beach.

We are fairly regular visitors to Carlsbad and have stayed in many Vrbo properties as well as local hotels. I would rate our stay at this property as among the best we have experienced. We rented Unit A which is in the front of the 3-unit building and which has one bedroom and full bath downstairs, and two bedrooms and full baths upstairs. All beds appeared to be king sized, and the master bedroom is particularly large with a walk-in closet and jacuzzi tub in addition to the shower. The living area and kitchen are well designed and comfortable, and there is a small balcony overlooking the street with views to the ocean. The two-car garage w/remote is great to keep your vehicle off the busy street and secure. The location is terrific - a one-minute walk to the beach, and within easy walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants in Carlsbad. Overall, the condition of the unit was excellent. There are some scuffed places on the walls, but I would imagine it is a constant battle to retouch the paint with so many guests and suitcases coming in and out all the time. There are televisions with cable in all rooms, however when we arrived none of the remotes were functioning. I believe they had been moved around the rooms and, after a little research, I was able to re-pair them with the receivers and they were fine for the remainder of our stay. One cable box in a bedroom, however, was missing a power cord so it did not work. The ice maker in the fridge did not work, although there was filtered water through the door. We alerted the owner, but I suspect it has been broken for a while. Old fashioned ice trays would suffice if it can't be repaired. The front left burner on the gas stove would not light - this is something the owner should take care of asap as it is a safety hazard. The sprayer handle on the jacuzzi did not work, or at least we couldn't figure out how to turn it on (the jacuzzi fills with a faucet and turned on ok). A couple of light bulbs were burned out (on the front of the fridge, and the bottom of the microwave), but these were minor inconveniences. As you can see I notice a lot of little details, but they are largely just minor maintenance items and as long as the owner follows up it will remain a wonderful place to visit. We will definitely look it up again and stay here on our next visit.

This is the perfect property in the perfect location. Located right across from the beach, you are so close you can hear the waves breaking at night. You can walk anywhere in the Village in just a few minutes, but if you prefer to drive the garage parking for 2 cars is a big plus. If you need more room, there is easy street parking. The neighborhood is quaint and safe and you really feel welcome. The property was exactly as shown in the photos. Unit A is very spacious, clean and well-appointed. And has a nice view of the ocean. Yes, some of the furnishings are a bit dated, but they are all clean and nice quality. The beds are comfy, the linens seem new, the carpet is clean. The new owner is upgrading and replacing fixtures, furniture, appliances, etc. The property is really quiet - although the other 2 units were full, we never heard a peep from the other families. The owner Rene was incredibly communicative, responsive and available, even over the Christmas holiday when one of the appliances broke. He clearly cares about his renters and the property, which is refreshing and comforting. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. I
