About this house rental
Recently remodeled single story modern ranch with hickory floors and natural light. Three blocks to Tamarack Beach, take the boardwalk or lighted rail trail for a short walk/bike to the numerous offerings of Carlsbad Village. Large open kitchen with four seat breakfast bar and ample counter space. Massive farm table seats 10 for holiday dinners or family breakfast. Master bedroom has a king bed, attached bathroom and large closet with built-in storage to hide suitcases and feel at home. Two additional bedrooms provide king and queen beds with a shared hallway bath. Main living space has a streaming 4k TV and wireless sound-bar. Separate den features a fireplace, comfortable sectional and 55" streaming television. Fenced back-yard has covered patio, grill and heated outdoor surf shower to take care of the beach sand. Shed holds beach wagon, beach toys, boogie boards, chairs and umbrella. Outdoor games include Bocce, ladderball and cornhole sets. Easy freeway access, 1 hour to Disney, minutes to LEGOLAND. Circular driveway with parking for 4. High speed internet and WiFi. Large capacity washer and dryer.

This house was awesome. It was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room, with an awesome backyard. It was only a short walk to the beach, and the provided beach chairs were very appreciated. Very close to the main Carlsbad area. Level 2 EV charger was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Absolute gem rental! Has everything you need for a family trip to Carlsbad, and specifically, the beach. Lots of space to spread out, relaxing backyard, yard games, puzzles and card games for the whole family, great location and very clean. I saw a few reviews mention train noise, but honestly it didn’t seem very loud and didn’t wake up either of the kids or adults.It’s easy to see how cherished the property is. The furniture is very nice as well. We hope to book this again. The only thing I will note for future families— the bedroom curtains are not blackout curtains, so it was hard to get the baby to nap and the 6 year to sleep late the first morning. Easy fix for us—we bought black garbage bags and painters tape and blacked out the windows ourselves. Something we usually remember to pack, but of course this time it slipped our minds. 10/10 would rent again!
