Comfortable rooms with great location for visiting Annecy

Very large main room with comfortable furniture. Great location, just north of Annecy's old town, and easy walk to train station and lake front.

Not so much "didn't like" but bedroom is a bit odd in your having to crawl across the bed to get in because of room's narrowness. Bathroom being off living room with tinted glass door was different, but fine for me. Room is on 3rd floor, so be prepared to climb some stairs during your stay.

We loved Annecy, wish we had stayed longer & hope to return!

The superior central location was absolutely the best thing about this apartment! It had big windows allowing natural light on sunny days. Generous size living area. Kitchen well appointed. Excellent wifi.

1. No hot water our last 2 days. Not easy to communicate with host. Not direct, so "sluggish" replies. 2. Two important light bulbs were burned out or missing (over the bathroom sink & over the exterior door,which was very dark at all times of day as well as night). 3. There was no dish cloth in the kitchen. 4. This may be an American sensibility but it would have been nice to have a wash cloth (also called a "face cloth") to use in the shower (or for washing the face at the sink).

Una rapina

La posizione è buona, anche se se la notte si sentono tutti i rumori della strada, dato che gli infissi delle finestre sono probabilmente del 1800.

Intanto c’è da dire che il palazzo in cui si trova l’appartamento è in uno stato pietoso. Appena entri trovi due cassonetti talmente grandi che quasi bloccano il corridoio. Le scale, buie e umide, sembrano fatte di cartone. Abbiamo trovato l’appartamento sporco, con monetine sotto al letto ed un trucco per donne sotto al divano. Nonostante avevamo chiesto di preparare due letti separati, ne troviamo solo uno - un letto più piccolo di un queen size, scomodissimo che sembrava fatto di polistirolo. Ci portano le lenzuola alle 11:30 di sera. Apriamo il “divano letto” che risulta essere tutto sgangherato. Scopriamo che lenzuola sono bucate. Per di più, sopra alla camera da letto ci sono diversi nidi di piccioni, i cui rumori si possono sentire tutta la notte. In conclusione, per 600 euro a notte ci si aspetta decisamente molto meglio. Il giusto prezzo di questo appartamento dovrebbe essere a malapena 50 euro a notte!
