Cozy and very nice !

Very easy communication , super nice and flexible handling of arrival times. Very clean and tidy, all amenities in the room. Nice little espresso bar directly opposite the hotel! Very quiet and beautiful Mountain Views in the morning.

Very well organised to get the key and the owner is attentiv and kind. I stayed for my birthday and he gave mi some birthday cake. The room is near to the center, with good facilities. I would book it again right away.

Good value for money

Very clean and in a quiet area. Its position - on top of a long staircase doesn’t make it practical if you have to carry luggage. Check in, done with the very friendly staff of Bar Pestalozzi is easy, however if you drive by car (I was traveling on a bicycle) requires you to park as the bar is within a pedestrian area.

Good and quiet alternative for a night or two in Chiavenna

Central but still quiet. We very strongly reccomend the bakery just next door for a first coffee in the morning. They got a good coffeemachine and of course plenty of delicious food, very friendly. A MUST! Newly furnished and doublebed bis enough for two, no problem, we had a good sleep

Check-In. Might sound like a great idea to check in in the very center of town and maybe have a first prosecco, but only to then walk to the outskirts.... bit ridicolous, please find an alternative to this! Room and bath veeeery clean but to small for spending more time than just a bit of relaxing and sleeping.

Lösung ganz OK für alle, die Chiavenna besuchen möchten und das Auto dabei haben.

Das Bed & Breakfast besteht aus zwei Wohnungen im ersten Stock eines Privathauses. Das Haus liegt an der Hauptstraße und ist sehr gepflegt. Im Zimmer stehen ein Wasserkocher und ein Ventilator bereit, die meiner Meinung nach sehr nützlich sind. Das Bett ist bequem. Direkt gegenüber der Wohnung befindet sich eine ausgezeichnete Konditorei, in der man auch italienischen Kaffee trinken kann. Positiv ist die Parkmöglichkeit und die Tatsache, dass man die Zimmerkarte aus der Box rechts neben der Garage nehmen kann, was besonders praktisch ist.

Meiner Meinung nach sollte die Regelung, dass das Zimmer erst um 15 Uhr bezogen werden darf, und um 9 Uhr zu verlassen ist überdacht werden. Schließlich handelt es sich hier um ein B&B mit zwei Zimmern ohne Frühstück und nicht um das Hilton. 😂

Zu teuer für das Gebotene.

Das Bad war gut ausgestattet

Leider waren die Schränke alle verschlossen und somit gab es bis auf eine Kleiderstange keine Möglichkeit die Kleidung zu verstauen! Außerdem gibt es bis auf WhatsApp keine Möglichkeit mit dem Vermieter zu kommunizieren. Leider alles sehr anonym.

Klein aber fein

Das Zimmer mit Balkon war blitzsauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit sehr angenehmen Betten ausgestattet. Es steht eine Kaffeemaschine und ein Teekocher zur Verfügung, und im Kühlschrank fanden wir diverse Getränke zu unserer Verfügung. Obwohl die stark befahrene Splügen-Passstrasse sehr nahe ist, war es nachts im Zimmer mit geöffnetem Fenster ruhig. Der freundliche Besitzer war uns mit Gastrotipps und Infos über regionale Aspekte behilflch.

Die zwei Einzelbetten haben etwas schmale Matratzen. Als Fussgänger muss man auf dem Weg in die Altstadt geschätzt dreihundert Meter auf der stark befahrenen, schmalen und nicht mit durchgehendem Gehsteig versehenen Splügen-Passstrasse zurücklegen. Dies empfanden wir als mässig angenehm und nicht ungefährlich.
