Disappointing stay at Hotel Aurora

Beautiful area, stunning scenery and a surprisingly thriving village. Parking was good

I would go back to Chiavenna but not this hotel. Our room was something out of the sixties. The air conditioning was turned off already in September so we had to risk mosquitos for fresh air. It took ages to find the toilet flush which was a button on the floor, I have only seen that before in caravans. The pool closes at the end of August, the only reason we booked this hotel in the first place! Difficult to open the doors onto our...balcony.

Thay have a parking for the motorcycles under the roof.

It is writen they speak english, but from english they only know three words: cash or card?! The price is too much for what they give.

Fine for a quick stopover

The pizzeria over the road is v good. Staff were uncomplicated and frankly for the price, you can’t complain! Breakfast actually okay.

So it’s pretty run-down and needs some love. The pool was closed (no explanation).

Das Hotel ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen, das Bett ist zu schmal und steht frei im Zimmer, das Frühstück war sehr einfach.

Amabilidad y trato de la dueña, amplitud de la habitación, parking cubierto para motos y posibilidad del restaurante.

Camas muy duras e incómodas, bar muy caro, desayuno muy simple para el precio.

Geeignet für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise für den kleineren Geldbeutel

Separate Garage für die Fahrräder. Frühstück ausreichend, Rezeption war immer besetzt, saubere Bettwäsche. Die Altstadt ist mit dem Fahrrad über Radweg relativ gut zu erreichen.

Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Ältere Dusche mit zu kurzem Duschvorhang erzeugt leichte Überschwemmung im Bad. Zimmer mit Fenster auf die angrenzende Durchgangsstraße ist sehr laut. Das auf der Webseite erwähnte Schwimmbad war geschlossen.

Accoglienza e disponibilità del personale. Posizione. Ampio parcheggio. Camera e bagno grandi. Colazione abbastanza variegata. Bar tabacchi interno.

Un dettaglio: colazione è a buffet, ma per le bevande calde bisogna chiamare ogni volta un operatore. Se ci fossero diversi check out, la presenza non è costante.

Das Frühstück ist italienisch schlecht und sehr bescheiden. Zudem musste immer eine Bedienung kommen um die Kaffeemaschine zu bedienen

Ein im die Jahre gekommenes Arbeiterhotel

Das Hotel liegt am Rande von Cjiavenna an der Hauptstrasse. Das Hotel verfügt über genügend Parkplätze. Das Jotel an und für sich ist schon in die Jahre gekommen aber soweit sauber. Die Zimmer simd sehr gross und sind mit Klimatisierung ausgestattet. Das Bad verfügt über eine alte Whirlpoolwanne welche aber nicjt ausprobiert wurde. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut und es hatte alles was es brauchte. Gegessen haben wir im Dorf und nicht im hauseigenen Restaurant und somit aus der Bewertung ausgenommen.

Zum Duschen lagen zwei Briefchen mit Duschmittel auf. Diese sind aus meiner Sicht nicht mehr Nachhaltig. Erstens sehr mühsam im Umgang und auch in Bezug auf Abfall suboptimal. Das gleiche gilt für die normale Handseife. Hier wären Dispenser zeitgemässer.

Passabler Aufenthalt in älterem Hotel

Gratisparkplätze, grosses Zimmer, nettes Personal und gutes Frühstück

Pool im schönen Garten trotz bestem Wetter nicht nutzbar (geschlossen, die Dauer der Schliessung ist dem Personal nicht bekannt), Fernseher im Zimmer kaputt (Personal konnte nicht helfen), Fliesen im Badezimmer teilweise kaputt und allgemein hat das ältere Hotel seine besten Zeiten hinter sich

Posizione e ampio parcheggio anche protetto Rapporto qualità dell'esperienza e prezzo richiesto molto buono e giardino con piscina un buon plus Colazione buona

Arredamento vecchio Il bagno cieco con una ventola veramente inutile, perlomeno includere un deodorante. Asciugacapelli praticamente non usabile. Frigorifero non funzionante. Colazione sì buona ma un po' scarna, soprattutto nel salato.

Posizione ottima per raggiungere Passo Spluga o Passo Maloja in bici o moto. Frigorifero in camera. Garage per custodire le bici.

Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, es ist gefühlt schon eine Ewigkeit nichts renoviert worden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr schlecht, 120 EU für so ein Zimmer ist sehr teuer. Im Vergleich dazu habe ich auf der Tour für viel weniger Geld ganz andere Zimmer gesehen, in München-Riem z.B. 70 EUR für ein super Zimmer im bay. Stil.

Gutes Hotel mit Parkplätzen

Gutes Hotel direkt an der Straße, trotzdem ruhig, Pizzeria direkt gegenüber.

Die Croissants zum Frühstück waren abgezählt, jeder nur eins zum Kaffee, die abgepackten wollte keiner. Nachtrag Pardon, ich habe mich geirrt, die abgezählten Croissants waren in einem anderen Hotel. Hier war das Frühstück ok.
