The staff Emi san is extremely nice, welcoming and care about us. The quality of the facility was excellent and clean. They are using high-quality electricity equipments. Very spacious room, the authentic Japanese traditional house vibes, a good location to travel around Arashiyama.

This place is close to the train station and close to the bamboo forest area. Very nice and good for groups to book a couple of these
Not much stays open late nearby so just keep that in mind but otherwise perfect

Such a beautiful stay with extremely friendly staff! They communicated very quickly and easily and the hotel itself was so gorgeous, perfect for a group of 5. It was pretty easy walking to most arashiyama activities, but leaving the area requires a 10 minute walk to the station, which isn't a difficult walk at all
it can be a bit noisy as the windows don't block out any sound, especially at night. restaurants in the area are also a bit limited and most places close early
