Beautiful home full of history. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even with our last minute stay the property was ready for our arrival. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Tastefully designed , preserving the history of the house balanced with modern needs. Lots of natural light and ample space for my family of 4. Yanbin is kind and exceptional host.

From the very first message to the final goodbye, everything was flawless, and it's all thanks to the incredible property and its wonderful owner, Yanbin The host, Yanbin, is what makes this place magical. He warmly welcomed us upon arrival, gave us a perfect tour, and shared fantastic local tips that you won't find in any guidebook. He was always available if needed but never intrusive-the perfect balance. You can feel his passion and care for this home, and it truly sets this experience apart from any other rental. The house itself is a dream. It is even more beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean than in the photos. Every detail is thoughtfully curated from the comfortable beds and high-quality linens to the fully-equipped kitchen and cozy living area. We felt at home instantly. The location is ideal. Waking up here was a joy. We have stayed in many places over the years, but this one is by far the best. If we are ever lucky enough to return to the area, we will not look anywhere else, we will book this exact home without hesitation. Thank you, Yanbin, for your exceptional hospitality. We stayed one night at Yanbin’s Kinmokusei Machiya and absolutely loved it. The house was spotless, quiet, and full of character. The semi-outdoor bathtub was our favorite. Great location within walking distance to Kinkaku-ji and Daitoku-ji. Yanbin was kind, responsive, and made everything easy. Highly recommended！
