The location was excellent– while a bit of a walk from the bay, it’s an easy walk to the city centre and Cardiff Central station. Being right next to Cardiff University, the area can be a little lively at times, especially on the weekend, with the windows open, but it didn’t negatively impact the stay. The host was fantastic, very responsive via phone and email, and their local recommendations were incredibly helpful.
The additional fee for bringing dogs should be clearly stated in the listing. Aside from that, everything was great.

We were attending a graduation at the Bay and this was a well priced accommodation just a short taxi ride away.
Lovely comfortable beds with crisp clean bed linen.
Everything was very clean. Bedding and towels were lovely.
There is nothing on the listing to say that the property is a three storey building and the apartment is on the top floor. I have mobility problems so the flights of stairs were difficult for me. If I had been alone I would not have been able to get my case up the stairs.
The kitchen, living room and dining room are all in one very small area. That was fine for us as we only stayed 1 night but if guests were staying longer and wanted to spend any time in the apartment it could be difficult as there is only one small two seater sofa.
We couldn't see any fire instructions in the apartment and did wonder how we would get out if there was a fire.

The host communicated very well, and the property was clearly professionally cleaned.
Property was as described, images on website were representative of the property we stayed at.
The door entry system made a very satisfying sound.
The shower head didn't stay up so we had to hold it with one hand whilst showering. The price was extremely expensive but this was due to the 6 nations game on that weekend.
