The Square Hotel

The location was very central, bed decently comfortable, easy and early check in.

Pretty loud. Was easy to hear conversations happening on the pedestrian street below. Room is very small and felt a bit cramped. I had to take a meeting over video chat and there was really no good place to sit with my laptop. Having the toilet and sink in separate rooms was inconvenient for hand washing. Seems like many compromises were made to put more rooms into this historic building. Breakfast was just ok. Not a lot of fresh options. Can't comment on staff because I never saw anyone. Expensive for what it was.

The hotel is located in a strategic position, with several supermarkets and nice bars/restaurants nearby. It was clean and quiet.

Breakfast needs to improve

The room is very big, breakfast is very good, everything is clean and bright. Bathroom is well equipped. Location is central to what we wanted to see.

I didn’t like that there is no front desk staff. No one is on property to help. I had problems finding the email with check in instructions and they had to resend it. The air conditioner didn’t not work properly. We opened the window but it is very loud outside.

No info is available on booking website that is smart hotel without a reception. Coding system on entry to hotel door is not properly working and need to contact the person on phone every time in last two days. Asking breakfast time in advance as have no tables enough to eat simultaneously. TV coding is terrible, abt 200 channels seen but not accessable mostly. The worst to mention is wifi internet connection, low speed and full of cuttings at all times therefor no tv watching and no net watching possible also, even caanot work properly as need to use my own phone connection. Unfortunately even asked to fix those things, nothing done for improvement so very much disappointed.
