DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cluj - City Plaza

Everything was perfect! The location of the Hotel is really very good. The bed was super-comfortable. The staff was very kind, especially Elisabeth at the Reception. The official check-out time is 12 am, what is another advantage.

The room was very clean, comfortable and well presented, and the hotel is in a great location for getting around Cluj. The staff were excellent throughout, particularly the reception and housekeeping teams, who were friendly, professional and very helpful.

The only areas that could be improved were the breakfast and the gym. The breakfast selection was quite limited and some of the hot items were often only lukewarm or cold. The gym was also fairly basic and would benefit from a wider range of equipment, particularly more strength-training options. Neither of these points detracted too much from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay, but improving both would bring them more in line with the overall high standard of the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and well cleaned. Nice breakfast and lots of variety. Very central location for sightseeing the town main attractions.

The receptionist that greeted us was very rude. Generally the stuff at the reception and in the restaurant don't know how to behave. They are very cold and wooden, don't greet guests, don't smile and are not polite. The room is quite dark at night, not enough light in the room. The window can not be opened, only a little bit diagonally.
