Retro Hostel

Good location, private room was good value for money.

It just didn't have much of a hostel vibe. Granted, I was in a private room, but I saw a total of like five other guests during the three days I was there, and never more than two at the same time. I think the biggest problem is the physical layout: the kitchen is pretty small and the opposite of cozy, and the basement, a bigger room that would offer opportunities to socialize, is kind of off to the side. Might be better in winter, I don't know. Also the lack of 24-hour staffing means there's nobody around to help create a vibe.

Everyone inside the hostel was great! Bathrooms could use fresh curtains. Hostel is cozy and comfortable.

The next door Sri Lankan men acted weird when I got there, and started banging the shared glass door when i entered the hostel with my own pass code. I felt a bit wary when I passed the glass door for the rest of my stay, but it was not because of the hostel or staff itself. Women, just be a bit cautious like anywhere else :)

Convinient location, helpful stuff, cozy atmosphere, ancient walls make you feel like you are in a very special place

The shower in the room was not working.

Central location and cheap stay. Good bed. Good place to meet other travellers.

Bathrooms smelled like urine, the dorm room was also really hot and there was one fan only that couldn’t reach my bed. Wifi connection at lobby only. The hosts were not really welcoming.
