Vila Dorobantilor

Comfortable and very easy walk to the Old Town area in Cluj-Napoca. Clean and pretty quiet even on a busy street. Very safe area. Price made it an excellent value. Staff were outstanding. Multi-lingual and incredibly helpful during my stay. They could not have been more friendly and efficient. It’s location and style made you feel a bit more like a local than a tourist at a chain hotel. Stayed on the 4th floor (which would be the 5th if you are from the US). Elevator worked well. Room had a small balcony which was a bonus. Excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. I will stay here next time I am in Cluj

I am not a fan of showers that are not fully enclosed. Hard to control where the water goes and makes the floor wet in other parts of the bathroom. There is a drain in the floor in the non-shower part. This is a personal thing and easy to overcome. And many lodging institutions, especially in Europe, do this. I’m not a fan, but that wouldn’t cause me to not stay there again. I will next time in Cluj-Napoca

good location. staff - only one person manages the place. they don't clean the room every day. they change towels every other day. They couldn't order us a taxi because it was late at night. We managed, but this is not the way you manage a hotel.
