This is a wonderful location. Restaurants and amenities close by, charming walking area. The apartment is very well appointed and beautiful. It is a great value. We will be back!

Be aware it is on the third floor (US) up some very irregular stone steps. We are in our sixties and were able to maneuver them, but some might not.

Stunning designer apartment in the heart of the town

I often distrust ratings of 10, but honestly, this is the best apartment I’ve ever booked on this platform. Rooms and facilities are exactly as shown in the photos – this is a very classy, designer apartment with real decorative flair. Some have mentioned the noise (there are a couple of restaurants in the alley below, and bars around the corner ), but we didn’t notice a thing. Both bedrooms are equally nice – one en-suite, one has the house bathroom – and the kitchen and facilities are top notch. The price – fore the quality – is excellent.

I feel like I’m grasping for a gripe (!), but laundry tablets would have been nice - otherwise everyone who visits has to buy 20 in the supermarket.

Fantastic modern comfortable apartment in heart of historic area of Nîmes

Fantastic location in heart of old Nîmes, surrounded by shops & restaurants. In an old building, the apartment was very spacious modern & smartly furnished. We liked having 2 bathrooms as sharing with another couple.

The dryer was not working, and no soap powder provided for the washing machine. On second floor with no lift, and worn slippery stairs could be a challenge for some.

Great location. Close to restaurants, the Roman amphitheatre and historical sights, easy walk to the main train station. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos, very clean and comfortable beds. The host was responsive and got back to us promptly.

We stayed during the local Harvest festival so it was very noisy until the wee hours, but that was no fault of the apartment. Also the old and uneven stairs to the apartment were a bit challenging, especially with suitcases!

Comfortable and spacious

Very spacious for two couples , walking distance from the train station and a short walk to the arena. Lots restaurants around and we really enjoyed our stay.

The bedrooms and bathrooms doors are a bit squeaky. Stairs are not suitable for old and disabled people.

It can get a little nosy with music from the street below, especially on a Friday/Saturday night. But the double-glazed windows and the AC/heater noise blocks most of that out.

This is a beautiful apartment with everything you could possibly need to make your stay in Nimes a treat. Spacious, super clean, high quality fixtures and fittings, superb location, and the owner Jean-Daniel is the best host we have ever worked with. He is super prompt with responses and was keen to ensure that we enjoyed a very good experience- he made restaurant reservations for us and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do and places to see. He deserves a star for his thoughtfulness and kind approach. We feel fortunate to have stayed in such a beautiful apartment in the heart of Nimes. Thank you

Exceptional apartment with exceptional hospitality

This place is a gem!!! I adored staying in this stunning apartment which was lovely and cool even though it was 33 degrees outside. The interior design is gorgeous, the layout is beautiful, the beds and bed linen are so comfortable (so much so that I noted the name of the bed linen so I can buy it myself) and the shower is fabulous. To add to that, the kitchen is really well stocked with the little bits and pieces that make all the difference to a stay (tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oils, salt and pepper etc.), providing that extra level of detail that made my stay exceptional! The bluetooth speakers are a nice touch too and the welcome pack (available in both English and French) was full of useful tips, including where I could leave my luggage post checkout before catching my train. An exceptional apartment and exceptional hospitality. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer too so I was able to travel home with a case full of clean clothes. The location is also perfect!

The perfect flat

Beautiful very spacious flat furnished and decorated with taste. Jean-Daniel is a great host, swiftly replying to your queries and eager to share with you his tips for restaurants and things to do in Nîmes.

It's a very lively neighborhood so expect some noise from nearby bars on Saturday evenings. The double windows cover most of the noises but not all.

One of the best accommodations where we have stayed.

The location was excellent as it was very central and all major sites were within walking distance. There is sufficient parking in the surrounding garages. Aside from the excellent accommodations, the host sent us the apartment information book beforehand. It is by far the best one I have seen in my many travels. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The building is old as are the steps. Anyone with a walking disability might find them too much to climb, but they do add charm to the place.

Very stylish apartment in the heart of Nimes.

This is a beautiful apartment, right in the centre of the old town in Nimes. The host was very helpful and there are some nice touches around the apartment - universal plugs, bluetooth speakers, coffee and wine etc. The little booklet was very helpful with restaurant and bar recommendations. The furniture was very stylish and the beds were very comfortable.

On Friday and Saturday nights the noise from the bar below is very loud - although it really didn't spoil our stay I think it would be difficult for children or light sleepers to get a good night sleep.

Great appartment, very high standard, lots of thoughful details, very clean, fantastic location, and despite being smack in the middle of the old town, well sound-proofed and quiet. Friendly and responsive hosts. We brought four bikes with us, as we were traveling onwards after our visit to Nimes, and fortunately we could leave them in the entry hall of the house / in front of the appartment without much problem.

Personally, the boxspring beds were too soft for me, particularly sharing the bed with my wife; but I guess that is personal preference.

The property is located on a lively street along with many popular restaurants and bars. While we generally see this as a positive, it was a little noisy at night as we were trying to sleep. We put the air conditioners on and that helped!

This is the most wonderful apartment in the pedestrian center of Nimes! The location is perfect. The bakery downstairs to die for, the bars fun at night and the nearby historical arena majestic. The apartment itself might be the best vacation rental I had ever stayed at. Our host was also fantastic and communicative, and left a bottle of wine for us on arrival. Can't wait to come back!
