We highly recommend the Mountain Lodge. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable, but when the peaks show themselve

The view is spectacular, the staff are extremely helpful and the location perfect. The proximity to the lift and hiking trails is very nice. Having a guest card which provides access to the mountain top is an awesome benefit. The staff very kindly helped up operate the washing machine. The breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly! It is also nice to have a place to park a car, with parking so limited in Arosa.

Soap or shampoo in the shower would be nice. Otherwise, the Mountain Lodge suited us perfectly. This was our second stay here.

I did not like this place.

As a solo female traveller, I did not feel comfortable at the property. The building is very big and there were almost no other guests (It was low season when I visited, but still). There is no working staff onsite overnight and no phone number to call if something weird happens, as did during my stay. Even booking.com staff could not reach anyone from the property and filed an incident report. Something to note is that the hotel is above the main part of town, so is not ideally located for someone with limited mobility or fitness without access to a car.

Not much. Breakfast was ok.

We had to make the beds ourselves and then remove the bed sheets at the end of the stay. We were not informed that we need to book a parking place so we had to park all the way down in the park house. (15 min by foot). The pictures on Google and on booking are not real. The hotel looks like an old sanatorium (which it probably was). The room was super expensive and not adequate to the quality. Plus the room was stinky. There is a depo of 100(!!) chf for an additional room key... The staff wanted me to pay again because 'they didn't realize it was already paid via booking.com'.

Note that the hotel is ca. 30 min walk (climbing) from the station. Also, you need to reserve dinner in advance (there's only one menu each day)

The staff at the reception very nice.

I had to do my bed myself. The sheets were placed on the bed. For the price that I paid, it is not acceptable.The hotel is very old, too old.

I was many in Arosa. Great ski areas

quiet, You can drive the skis almost to the front of the hotel.but they should do more clear making. it’s not easy if you don’t know the Areas

It's okay for the money you pay.but the dinner was not as it should be. Atmosphere could be a bit better for the money we paid.

A very good place in a very bad location.

As a Hostel is very good. if you travel with a group of friends it is very convenient.

It is at the top of a hill. Where there are no bus connections at all. It is winter and it snowed or there is ice on the road is dangerous. Plus, if you have to carry up with skis and stuff like that it is a nightmare.

Arosa Mountain Lodge provides no-nonsense affordable accommodation with access to the ski-slopes

The reception is very friendly and the breakfast is basic but more than enough for many hours of skiing. The storage of skis and boots was very convenient and the direct access to the ski-piste 15 is a very great asset. The room was warm and the shower too. The common area is very roomy and has free wifi.

There was no wifi in the room and there was a constant noise of running water in pipes, affecting my sleep at night. The lodge has little or no 'cosiness' and the common area with bar is not lively. The dining room is not very attractive and the menu looked a bit like school.so I didn't feel invited to sign up for dinners.

Passable

We were already able to deposit our luggage in our rooms at 9am, which made skiing during the day a lot more comfortable. The location is acceptable, since Mountain Lodge is located close to one of the slopes.

The accommodation as such was ok but the stay was too expensive for what you get, since it is even required to make one's own bed and the breakfast was only just satisfactory . Very loud guests made it impossible to sleep.

Orde netheid vriendelijk en het lekkere eten. Iedereen deed zijn uiterste best om u een heerlijke vakantie te bieden.

Parking voor auto was in het dorp en niet vlakbij het hostel.

Herbstausflug bei Kaiserwetter

Das ehemalige Sanatorium ist jetzt keine sehr einladendes Gebäude und die Innenausstattung ist sehr funktional. Aber das Zimmer mit Balkon ist nett und die Dusche modern. Frühstücksbuffet tipptopp. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Kleines, einfaches Einzelzimmer. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und leckeres Frühstück.

Matratze eher hart, Gänge dunkel, wenn man vom Zimmer kommt statt vom Treppenhaus.
