Overall an excellent stay but wait 2 weeks for your deposit to be returned

The property was excellent value for what we paid. Located only 5 min drive to the main shopping street. Lovely clean and comfy.

We paid extra money for linen but the bed was not made. We also paid a £100 deposit for breakages etc which we got told would be returned in 1 week after we departed. 2 weeks later this still was not in my bank and my messages were getting ignored. When I threatened to get booking.com involved my deposit was soon returned.

Unclean and not a great stay

The bed was ok

Cob webs and grime/dust everywhere, the shower water pressure wasn't great, the TV is way too high it hurts your neck just to watch it and tge sofa is very uncomfortable.

Could have been better

I paid for the linen package unfortunately on arrival there was no bottom sheet the quilt and pillows were just rolled up on the bed I managed to find a green sheet in wardrobe there were also no towels just a face cloth luckily I had brought a towel of my own

The bed was very old and uncomfortable as were the pillows the mattress protector was also stained and on inside out money has obviously been spent on modifying the chalet and it looked very nice a little more spent on a decent mattress and pillows and some quality bedding that are actually fitted would get excellent review

Disappointing

It was close to where we were going.

The bedding was covered in hair. The owner asked for £100 deposit which we sent straight away and we left the place immaculate and checked the property on our arrival for any damages and reported a broken toilet seat that we found on our arrival and were told that we would have it back a week following our stay. Despite numerous messages we are not even getting a reply. Looking at reviews this is a regular occurrence.

Wouldn’t use Ricardos holiday let’s again.

It was clean and tidy .

Was sent to wrong property first, then when I got to where we was staying had to wait 25 minutes for code to get in . When I walked in the property I tripped over the mat in the door way has it had curled at both sides and very dangerous. The worst part was having to wait for our deposit back took ages no apology no communication had to go to booking.com ,they claimed technical problems, but reading their reviews I wasn’t the first. They know how to lose customers.

Great little holiday base

Very clean well kept property. Easy parking and access. Close to all amenities required. Very pet friendly place. Nice walks Property has everything you need. My dog loved his stay.

Good check in, very helpful lady text instructions and met us…nice little chalet, kitchen area and bathroom spotless, walking distance to sand dunes and beach, value for money.

As soon as we walked in - The stale smell of smoke, a stained sofa bed and tatty table in lounge. Totally took the shine off the fact that it’s a lovely chalet.

a nice area to return to

set in a lovely area on a nice and quiet site .

there were no smoke detectors in the property and the one window which would serve as the only fire escape at the opposite end to the entrance to the property was locked with no key available to unlock. a rogue pubic hair ( not ours !!!) in sink was rather unsettling !
