Beachside caravan

Very nice location and very good famliy close to beach, easy to find and very reasonable

Great location: just a short walk across the dunes to a dog-friendly beach, only a 20 minute walk from the seal and wildlife sanctuary, and close enough to enjoy the amusements at the seafront but not too near to hear the noise. Having the Haven holiday park next door helped with keeping this caravan park a bit quieter despite being a weekend during school holidays. Place was relatively clean and some basic provisions were provided for the kitchen and bathrooms, and the instructions to find the property were great.

Caravan was slightly dated so there was a significant lack of available plug sockets for charging phones etc. in the bedrooms. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but I’ve slept on worse, and the sheets were comfortable enough. Biggest issue with sleeping was actually the curtains in the bedroom are a light colour and quite thin, so when the sun rose, that was when you were awake whether you wanted to be or not. Shower was a bit hit and miss, changing from hot to cold and didn’t have the greatest water pressure.

The caravan is located on a lovely and peaceful caravan site, there is a good bar/restaurant on site also. There was all cutlery, plates and pans available, also the towels and bedding and some tea and coffee facilities which was a nice touch. Caravan looked clean and well looked after, there were mouldy curtains that could do with replacing in the lounge and double bedroom. Also the garden furniture - table and chairs were covered in mould which unfortunately made it harder for us to enjoy the weather while sitting outside. TV was only working for one night and then it stopped for unknown reasons, it showed up with the message "problems with cable". The WIFI also wasn't working. The stay was pleasant but I expected it to be a tiny bit better. Unfortunately would not stay there again.
