The worst 9 hours of my life,very cold,dirty & a strong smell of sick.Definatly not cleaned .

Mablethorpe is a beautiful place i have been many times before.Unfortunately this accomodation was dreadful.

Edit to say the previous guest had reset the wifi so I was unable to connect to it & therefore could not top up the electric this should of been checked before my stay!Had the host responded to my email when I returned home after being there for under 9 hours he could of fixed the problem & I could of returned to finish my stay. The accommodation was beyond dreadful.Filthy mops & buckets left in the bathroom,mold in the shower,sticky marks on the table,sofa was covered in stains,kitchen sink was stained with crumbs in,Dish drainer had black slime/bacteria under it,fridge was dirty.The whole place had a strong smell of sick.It needs a really good deep clean.There is no mention of paying for electricity & having to top up a smart meter,I did ask the host about this before I left for my stay after reading another review as my phone is very old & won't connect to the internet without wifi & everything is electric the host did not seem to care..There is a small fan heater which doesn't heat up the living room & kitchen so its extremely cold.The hoover was left plugged in on charge using what little electricity there was left.I left at 5am after being in the property for under 9 hours.Not at all welcoming.Host either takes days to reply to questions or doesn't reply at all.

Average chalet

TV not working. Came to relax spent over 30 mins trying to get it working. Frustrated and left. Did not stay the night as we went to chill out and were both more stressed than when we arrived we were not in a good space. Spent £10 on electricity so left the lights on when ws left. Never again.

Ezcellent chalet will come back

Lovely chalet. Good setup for 2 small kids. So close to beach and mablethorpe walkable even with little legs. Owner extremely reaponsive when i stupidly could not get the shower to work. Facilities at the park are good. Food excellent

Everything you need for a self catering seaside holiday.

Chalet was brilliant for a base for a seaside holiday and had been upgraded slightly from previous visit.

As chalet is dog friendly some wire around the verandah might have stopped our varmint escaping twice through the railings.

Mablethorpe

We walked in it looked quite nice .

Kitchen to small walked in to the double bedroom it looked like something just got out of bed pulled the quilt back and the sheets were stained we took the sheets off the bed there was a dead spider glad we always take our own quilt and sheets went into the bathroom there was a dirty nappy in the bin glad we only stayed one night my wife got bitten on the back of her legs when she woke up in the morning.

Great few days in a fab little chalet!

Great chalet. Nice and clean with everything catered for. Lovely decor and comfy beds. Good location for the beach and close enough to walk into town. The site was nice and quiet with a great play area for kids, and a dog friendly room in the clubhouse.

Good stay in a good location

Good stay in a good location. Paying for electric on top was not ideal and was not advertised at the time of booking. We only found out about that a few days before the holiday. The chalet itself was really cosy and great to have the decking area. Loved the fire in the living room.

Never again

The plus is that you have to top up the electricity. The gentleman leaves you with a credit of -£10. Luckily I didn't get to top up because out of 5 nights I was only there one night. I'll describe the rest in a negative comment.

At the beginning I would also advise you to take the bedding with you. We found it all stained, some hair everywhere and dirt. The second fantastic thing is the moldy bathroom, loose toilet (be careful how you use it) and the stench in the bedroom from the bathroom wall. I am attaching photos. Think a few times whether it is worth it because after the first night I slept on the sofa because of the dirty bedding and the terrible condition of the bathroom I had to take something else. I am still sick because of his mold in the bathroom. I will definitely report it somewhere.

The decor was lovely. Very comfortable.

The keypad didn’t work but someone came out straight away and spare key was given within minutes.

TINY CHALET , MOST LOCAL PUBS CLOSED

Rather small , you could not pass each other in that TINY kitchen , location to Mablethorpe beach excellent . For information we did not use any of the bedding took our own Did not use the cooker / oven Nicely accessorised very sea side theme

No services open being November , the size was so small in the kitchen area . The key safe was difficult to open , the road signage in the park very poor to find chalets and exit , kept getting lost . The owner asked for £25 to take our dog when in Booking.Com information stated NO EXTRA CHARGES FOR PETS , left cleaner than we found it too . Base of shower screen has mould needs sorting
