Great stay

Great location and really well kept accommodation. Thoughtful extra touches like dog towels and children's toys. Designated parking spaces.

Uncomfortable, 2 flights of stairs to climb, bathroom too small, you hit your head on the toilet doo

2 flights of stairs, uncomfortable beds, small bathroom and shower, cupboards damp smell and the cups and plates, dirty stained small 2 seater sofa, the bathroom had no hooks and no space at all for any clothing, the cooker was too close to the work unit, the work unit dripped condensation from the kettle and a pan, which is not hygienic, we had to eat out , no one wants condensation dripping onto their food, the four of us are at an age where you don’t want to be climbing 2 flights of stairs, also we have a large dog, and two flights of stairs is not good sound wise, there were no garden to sit out, my brother in law struggled with the steps, he has 2 false knees , and he’s had his ankle fused, it would have been nice to have known about the stairs, and we got told at the last minute that we had to bring some pound coins for the electric meter.

Close to town and great beds

The beds were so comfy, probably the comfiest we've slept in! So many extras supplied, iron, dog bowls, hair dryer, I could go on.

It was top floor but that was my fault for not checking. It did make me feel safe to leave window open at nighy

The only negative was it had a clock that chimed every hour, very annoying had to take batteries out .

Convenient base for the local area and events.

Convenient, we used it as a base for attending the superbikes at Cadwell Park (35 mins drive). Well equipped for what we needed for the couple of nights we were there. The metal bunk beds were very squeaky unfortunately, especially with two fidgety girls in them.

Not a lot the owners can do about the noise in the area, but our apartment faced the road so we had a lot of disturbamce from traffic and the local pubs until the early hours of the morning.

I had a comfortable and peaceful stay at Happy Holidays Apartments.

The apartment was immaculately cleaned throughout. The towels provided were lovely and fluffy. Full kitchen. Adequate space throughout. It was a welcome change from the B&B experience, for certain.

There was no freezer available, and I like my ice cream. The electricity is supplied through a pay-as-you-go meter that's coin fed. On my low consumption I made £2 last 4 days, so it's not very expensive, just a hassle.

Very pleasant

Lovely apartments with everything you need there for self catering. Very cheap on the electric meter (I used just over £ 1 for 3 nights, I was out most of the day though.) Around a 5 minute walk to beach and high street shops. I will definitely stay here again.

Only thing I would say is the shower pressure wasn't the best, however with the water going to a few apartments that could be the reason. It didn't stop me from showering at all though.

Perfect spot for the hustle and bustle of Mablethorpe

Very nice flat/apartment very comfortable plenty of room and everything included that you would need, and location ideal for the sights and sound s of Mablethorpe, 2 minutes walk to the shopping street.

Lovely flats and owners

Communication before arrival was great. We were easily able to access our accommodation. The flats are clean and comfortable. They have everything you need, even washing up liquid and a tea towel. The variety in the size of flats is great for our growing family. It means there is always something suitable. It's really close to all the local attractions to.

When coming back to Mablethorpe we will be staying here again. A lot of the locals say the owners are wonderful people.

Property had free parking and an allocated space for each apartment. Great idea having toys/dvds etc in the reception to use. Fab location as right where you need to be for everything. Had towels to use also. The electric didn’t cost much to run at all! Large comfy beds. Clean apart from a few cobwebs in windows. Easy to access with key box and code. Great communication before visit from owners.

Quite a few stairs to get to property number 5 with a pushchair. Sometimes other guests didn’t lock the front door.

Exactly what we needed

The owners were on hand if we needed them. We did once and they were excellent at helping. It's hall way between the paddling pool and town so great for reduced mobility people. We were on the second floor but was still much better for my mum who struggles with long distances. There are picnic blankets, books and dvds to borrow is toy want to and the electricity is a fan price! Cost us maybe a fiver for the week.

Nothing really. Maybe instructions for how to use the heaters. Dropped a little cold over day and considered using one for my daughter, but have up and warmed quickly the next day anyway.

Great location for everything. Just a short walk to the beach and town. Able to park on property. Dogs very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing to complain about. We only stayed for a couple of nights so although self catering we didn't use the cooking facilities. Also can't really comment on the hosts as we didn't meet them. They send a code for the key box and you just let yourself in which we are absolutely fine with but some people might want to be welcomed by the hosts.

Clean and comfortable and extremely good value for money

Location was excellent being very near to shops, beach and all the amenities you expect from a seaside town. The Flat was very clean and comfortable offering jigsaw puzzles, toys, books and games for the children, very thoughtful.

Bearing in mind the value for money of our stay, I really don't think I could fault what was on offer.

Cost of electric meter extortionate there was nothing on the website to advise that there was a meter. It cost over £7 for 3 hours fire usage as the flat was freezing had to wear coats all the time and therefore left one day early as to expensive to heat

Comfortable and clean accommodation for a few days away.

The property was clean and comfortable. Clare was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although I didn’t have a child with me there is a big dresser full of games, toys, colouring books and pencils to keep children occupied. There were also dog towels provided so no need to take a wet dog any further than the front door.
