From the first moment we arrived we have never felt so warm and welcomed by a hotel that gives you that home from home feeling. We already feel part Of the family, we have spoken to several people who come back each year and we totally get it! Location is everything this is perfect! Everything is on your doorstep! Room fabulous so tranquil and the staff are top shelf! We honestly have had the most loveliest time! And Aaron’s cooking is out of this world and we will be sad to leave it! Already looked at our next visit! See you at Christmas! Words cannot express how comfortable this place is I could write for days, no place is perfect but this place is! So have a wonderful time to anyone staying after we leave!

The view from the room is amazing. Directly into the harbour. Access from room down a few steps onto the harbour for walks and swimming. Up a short hill into the main town or Fistral.

Dirty and embarrassing

The view.

On booking it is marked as 5 stars but 1 would already be too much. It is truly incredible that a dirty and smelly dump cost 200 pounds. Dirty room, tiny bathroom full of hair and dirt, uncomfortable bed, dirty and embarrassing furniture... I am absolutely certain that the 10 reviews are all absolutely false. Truly embarrassing.

Fabulous hotel and restaurant. Looking forward to returning.

The room was "compact and bijou" but everything was there that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. WiFi worked well, room was just the right temperature. The view from the room's balcony was of the harbour directly below and further out to the bay. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs which was AMAZING. As I had asked if there were vegan options as there were none on the sample menu online, chef Aaron created our own 3 course vegan menu.

Fantastic location, nice and clean room with balcony which overlooked Harbourand beaches. Fantasic, friendly and accommodating hosts,nothing was too much trouble.

Small gripe, bed was against wall so had to wake husband to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Won't deter us from Coming again.

Difficult to really fault anything! The ONLY downside, and this is completely beyond the owners control is parking. That's really the same for anywhere in Newquay mind.

Love the location, owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

This lovely hotel has been misrepresented on booking.com. It does not have a hot tub in the bedroom. It has a spa bath in the bathroom. The room has not been misrepresented by the hotel itself, just by booking.com.

An enjoyable & comfortable couple of days

The restaurant unfortunately was closed (off season, it currently only opens at weekends), but the breakfast menu was good & the quality, as was the cooking, excellent. Location was good & the situation of the hotel with its views were wonderful. My wife had spilt orange juice on her coat during the drive there & when casually mentioned this to the reception staff, was immediately met with the offer to wash it. She had it returned in a couple of hours ! Concern for guest satisfaction was very evident & delivered upon in a very efficient & friendly way.
