BILBAO RIVERSIDE by STAYNN APARTMENTS

Fairly good location. Once you're in, it's a great place, with a full kitchen and plenty of amenities. Air conditioning works well, and maid service and security are both good. Plenty of space. Though we had trouble accessing the room, StayNN sent a person to help us get in.

We had an unfortunate arrival situation. We arrived quite late (2300) and at the wrong location. I turns out there are multiple Bilbao by Staynn Apartments, so make sure you are at the right one; we were not, so of course the door code did not work. Due to the late hour and our eSIM cards not working well, we could not communicate with the owners. We ended up staying the night in our rental car and went to the correct location the next morning once we realized our mistake. But even if we had arrived at the correct location the evening before, access would have been challenging. There is no sign on the front door, and in the lobby the hotel is not listed on the directory board. The building front desk is only open for about four hours a day, so it is easy to miss the person there. So (a) make sure you are at the correct location and (b) go through the glass door to the lobby and upstairs to the first floor. Then find the door that includes your room (rooms are grouped behind three different doors) and type in the code. Once we figured it out it was easy, but confusing upon arrival.

The location is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the more touristy part of the city. There are a lot of shops and commerce around the area. The flat is very well equipped to prepare basic meals, and the washing machine is very handy. It's nice to see the daily life of the city. Also, it's convenient to find car parking.

The only "hiccup" was the arrival. We were given the instructions for a self-service check-in, but the codes didn't work. Fortunately, there was a contact number we could call, and we sorted everything.

We stayed here as a family during a stopover, but also to spend some hours exploring Bilbao. The instructions were very clear, and the accommodation was spacious and well located, with several restaurants and shops within walking distance. When we accidentally made a few mistakes during check-out, the host responded with understanding and professionalism. We quickly found a solution together, which we truly appreciated.
