Very friendly host John who greeted us on arrival, gave us good advice & interesting information. John prepared us an excellent breakfast. Parking was free in the town.

There was a little bit of traffic noise from trundling lorries in the morning.

Wonderful and individual breakfast. Very spacious rooms with places to put things- particularly in the bathroom. Sparklingly clean. John is a wonderful host, great character and great conversationalist. Coming in this direction, we factor in an extra night to stay here.
A lot of stairs, but this is made clear on booking- and are well worth the effort.
