We were very comfy in this apartment and really enjoyed our time in and around Auxerre.

Great location. Super clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Quiet. Good black-out shutters in bedroom. Safe space for bike storage.

Nothing. Everything was as good and as nice as I hoped it would be based on the property price, description and reviews. Just one little thing - it would have been helpful to receive the instructions on how to access the property a day in advance. The information provided by booking.com said that someone would meet us at the property but when we arrived this was not the case. (Info had in fact been sent by Jeremy but only during our journey and I was not able to download it without WiFi and was therefore unaware it was there). This didn’t detract from our stay though, and was quickly sorted with a phone call to Jeremy.

Excellent spacy appartment directly in the city center

Direct in the town center. But very quiet as the house is behind the houses on the main road. Bicycles can be parked safe and dry. There is a small privat patio, nice in the summer. Everything is new in the apartment and you find also convenient equipment for washing a few clothes. Kitchen is ok for coocking though we did not.

Nothing worth to mention. Maybe a few coocking knifes for people preparing a meal there.

Superb

Modern well thought through flat. Cosy and comfortable. This , tucked away behind the ancient houses and facades of Auxerre. Auxerre is fantastic for anyone interested in historic architecture. You can find everything here. From Victorian villas going back to Renaissance buildings. A Gothic Cathedral, Romanesque Tower all the way back to a Carolingian crypt. Well worth the trip.

Comfortable and convenient apartment in the historic part of Auxerre.

Great location in the old town. Parking spaces available up the road. Nice décor. Well-equipped kitchen. Cute little courtyard and porch between the main front door and the actual door into the apartment. Good shower. Very quiet, as the apartment is up a little alley from the street. Charming, communicative host, whom unfortunately we didn’t meet this time because he had an injury. We would happily stay here again.

The bed was perhaps rather small - I am only 175cm, yet my feet kept hanging over the end if I used the square pillow. Bedroom quite hot while we were there. Steps into kitchen have no hand-rail (which is only an issue if you are disabled, as my wife is).

Three nights was just right for a visit to Auxerre and this accommodation was ideal.

Comfortable and quiet. Location was very good - minutes away from main attractions in city.

Access to the accommodation is down a narrow alleyway which at night is completely dark and dangerous (slippery). The lighting in the area was not working. Parking is a bit of an issue and could have been better explained prior to arrival.

Highly recommended!

Cosy and comfortable apartment with good-quality facilities. We enjoyed the small backyard during breakfast and dinner. Great location! Walking distances to the centre. The host takes care of everything you want to know. He even stores some dry foods (pasta, bread and seasonings) available in case you arrive late and have no time for shopping on the first arrival. Highly recommended!

Brilliant, first class, I shall stay here again if I get the opportunity, I could live here.

All my answers to the pre-set question received a top answer. What more can I say! ° This apartment, the people I contacted and met (Jeremey and Alice) who managed it were really helpful, everything was explained to me, the keys, the microwave, especially the cooker, the shower, the blinds, the ventilation system and more ... ° I was met on time and during my stay I had some personal family difficulty which was handled quickly and sympathetically by the owner who I could contact by mobile phone. ° A living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom all separate plus a private courtyard which caught the sun and a sort of covered entry off the courtyard with tables and chairs. ° If you don't know Auxerre, it's a myriad of small intertwining narrow street, DO NOT try to get to this apartment without parking your car somewhere nearby first. ° This is the best apartment I have ever stayed at in France.

This is a lovely and convenient place to stay in Auxerre with charming helpful hosts.

The location is great and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the river, as well as all the atmospheric streets and sights of old Auxerre. The property has no street presence other than a blank white door, but this leads into a narrow alley which in turn takes you to the property itself. This is not unusual in France. Once you step inside the property it is another world - cosy, intimate and immaculate. We were met by the owner's mother outside - she had the entry code and keys and showed us around. She doesn't speak English but we got by even with our limited French, and at one point she phoned Jeremy her son to explain the parking situation to us - his English is fine. Parking is available just around the corner, with the first two hours free, plus it is free to park overnight after 1900 until about 0800 next day, so if you time your arrival for after 1700 you should get free parking all night.

The only thing we found uncomfortable were the pillows, which we found a bit too thick. However, that is a very minor point, and we just took the pillow cases off and put jerseys inside instead. Sorted!

Cosy qui porte bien son nom...

Logement qui porte bien son nom, il est réellement très cosy, aménagé avec beaucoup de goût, super propre, literie très confortable, situé à un jet de pierre du centre ville, bien que pas de contact direct avec l'hôte, super sympa et aux petits soins en cas de besoin.

Zeer comfortabel verblijf in alle rust en toch vlakbij het bruisende centrum van Auxerre en Yonne !

Super locatie. Midden in centrum en toch zo stil dat je de vogeltjes hoort fluiten bij het ontbijt 's ochtends. Het ideale plekje is de patio die lekker koel is bij warm weer en waar je perfect je fietsen kan plaatsen.

Enkele kleinigheden kunnen nog toegevoegd worden : klein vuilbakje in badkamer, wc-rolhouder naast het toilet, oprijplaat over de trappen om fietsen binnen te rijden in patio.
