A charming historic property within easy walking distance of the historic town centre. Clean and well-equipped.
Despite staying in mid-June we found the apartment a little on the chilly side. It was also a little dark, but I guess this is to be expected in such an old property.

Location in the old town. In superb modernised condition but retaining its character. Lovely old stone staircase. Owner is on site and speaks excellent English. 5 minute walk to restaurants and very near the old Abbey church (worth a visit). Really enjoyed our night there.
AC probably helpful on the hottest nights and it can be a little noisy outside at times due to cobbles and echos from passing people and traffic - but not unmanagably so. These are minor points about a wonderful place.
