Lovely location, charming but could improve a bit.

Location was magical

The sofa bed wasn’t made for us upon arrival. We had to make it after a very long trip. The hot water heater kept us awake all night because it kept turning on and off, making loud noises.

Fabulous Apartment

Large, bright apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely location, quiet but close to restaurants and the centre of town. The sun terrace was an added bonus. Owners were friendly and available with any information required. Would definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed in the loft apartment before and this was another apartment booked with Valerie & Paul. Superb, as all of their properties are. Can’t fault anything. Amazing location, comfortable, clean and great hosts. We’ll be back!

Excellent location, close to the river on the edge of the old town. Very good interior, tastefully furnished and relatively new. Very private terrace with good sun. Friendly hosts.

The two flights of stairs were manageable and an acceptable price to pay for the views and privacy.

Our family of 4 absolutely adored this place. The apartment is in the most gorgeous building in a picturesque spot. The host was excellent and made our stay much easier.. I would love to come back and stay for a week

Overall a superb stay, nice and quiet just what we wanted.

I was able to store my bicycle securely during my stay in the cellar that had a ramp so no carrying it up any stairs. Close to all amenities including the train station that is only 10-15 minutes walk away.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this superb apartment

Absolutely fantastic accommodation. Everything we needed for a two week stay. Location is superb, hosts excellent, very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is large, comfortable and also has a well equipped kitchen. Absolutely everything we needed. Would highly recommend and we’ll return. Auxerre is a fabulous destination. The apartment is a short walk from the station but in the historic and beautiful old part of Auxerre.

Everything. The owners were delightful. The apartment was perfect and has a lovely out side patio. We felt very honored that the owners allowed us to water the plants on this lovely patio. They don't know I have a black thumb. The good news all the plants survived us.

Comfortable flat with a magnificent view

A beautiful place, with a magnificent view. This is a real gem of an appartment. Auxerre itself is beatiful and coming back from a day of trekking in the area and exploring the city's many views to this lovelyh place was a treat in evey respect.

Spacious and centrally located

This is a historic old property that has been recently renovated. The rooms were large and the view of the old town was spectacular. This unit also has a large terrace with a table for dining. There was a code for the front door and a lock box for the keys. Checking in and out was very easy. There is also free parking a short walk away, but the unit it self is in the historic center of Auxerre. It is an easy walk to the river, the cathedral and the center of the old town.

This unit is on the top floor and requires climbing several flights of steep winding stairs. This was not an issue for us, but might be for some with heavy luggage and/or mobility issues. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this property.

Ideal base for an Auxerrois mini-break

Perfect location, just metres from the Yonne River, the Abbey of St Germain and the rest of Auxerre's charrming old town (the self-guided "Cadet Roussel" walking tour, which follows bronze arrows past almost 70 places of historical importance, passes right in front of the door. Several excellent restaurants are literally around the corner. A municipal parking lot is also just metres away; though apparently it's only supposed to be free for two hours, we stayed for two days without paying anything...

The one piece of kitchen equipment that would have been useful is a colander/sieve for straining pasta (sorry if it's there and we missed it!)

L'agencement de l'appartement était top, c'était propre et proche de tout en voiture avec des allées pour se promener à pied. L'hôtesse était accueillante et a pris le temps de nous faire la visite complète de l'hébergement et nous a donner toutes les explications nécessaires pour le séjour. Je recommande fortement ! !!

Virkelig lækker lejlighed i midten af Auxerre lige ved masser af restauranter, tæt ved parkering og med meget venlige ud

Meget lækker og ren lejlighed. Masser af plads. Køkkenet er godt udstyret. Beliggenheden er virkelig. Midten af Auxerre i den gamle bydel, tæt på adskillige parkeringspladser og omringet af restauranter og vin bar. Udlejer der mødte os ved check-in var meget venlig og hjalp os med at finde en alternativ parkeringsplads da den de havde angivet var lukket pga. fete nationales. Udlejer var generelt også virkelig god til at informere os om hvad der foregik i byen.

Annoncen er lidt forvirrende på booking.com så vi troede egentlig vi havde booket en anden lejlighed i samme bygning. Men lejligheden vi faktisk bookede var også virkelig lækker! Der står på siden på booking.com at der vil opkræves 300€ i depositum så vi havde været i banken for at hæve det, men de ville ikke have det alligevel ( lidt upraktisk at skulle skaffe så mange kontanter når de ikke skal bruges) Eneste ulempe ved beliggenheden er at der er lidt langt til indkøb af mad. Vi gik rundt længe og ledte. Vi benyttede os af et indkøbscenter i udkanten af byen.
