Number Thirty-Nine

Beautiful house in Ulverston, with a really sweet courtyard area at the back. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that you won’t want for anything, and all the furniture and equipment is of a really high standard. Welcome pack and lots of thoughtful additions were very much appreciated, and if you don’t know the area there’s a folder with lots of really good recommendations. Great location, only a few minutes walk from the town with plenty of shops, pubs and cafes. We’ve stayed in several places in Ulverston in the past few years and Number Thirty-Nine is by far the best, definitely ranks up amongst our favourite holiday rentals of all time, we’ll definitely try to book it again next time we’re in the area.

Honestly nothing!

Upon arrival we found eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. As we had not had time to shop for food, this was marvellous! There was a little outside area at the back of the property, which had pot plants and little lights. The lounge had comfortable seating and a television. The bathroom had a long, deep bath and a shower. The property had been decorated stylishly throughout.

Lovely house, very convenient for the excellent town centre and a good base for using trains and busses to explore the Lake District. A real home from home. Nice welcome gifts too. Highly recommended.

Property was neat and clean. Beautifully furnished with everything needed in a house. It’s feels like home. Emma is a fantastic host. She lives next door and available for any help if needed. Our stay was so enjoyable and we love to come back.
