Overall the accommodation was comfortable and nicely appointed and we felt very welcome there.

Friendly host and comfortable facilities. We appreciated having off-street parking for our motorcycles. The area felt safe and was very peaceful.

We had to hunt around for something to wash the dishes. It might be helpful to have a 'one-pager' on where things are located and how the host would like the place left before check out.

Can recommend without a problem!

- Really lovely host, super friendly even after we were later than expected, gave us a great dinner recommendation - Some nice extras like bottles of water/milk, good hot chocolate powder - Basic cooking utilities (microwave, kettle, toaster, utensils) - Private parking spot on the property, but plenty of parking possibilities right in front of the house if needed as well

- It was quite warm inside on a hot day, but we had a fan at our disposal - Matress was a quite soft (but that is personal preference)

John was very friendly. Room met most of our needs.

Good selection tea/coffee and fresh milk. John was very friendly and helpful. Location handy for Theatre, cinema and restaurants in Kerikeri also close to a very good farmers market, food and crafts

Well equipped, quiet, comfortable and good value

It was super clean, had everything we needed and plenty of extras, like bathrobes, large range of teas etc, really nice bathroom products. Loved waking up to the birdsong. Definitely comfortable, quiet and very well looked after. Would definitely book again and intend to next time we are north for business.

Buyer beware!

Small omissions can ruin a holiday! Where I come from, a 24 degree day is quite comfortable, but it had turned this west-facing room into an oven. With no air conditioner and windows lacking fly screens it proved impossible to get through-flow of cooling air without inviting mosquitoes into the room. So we were unable to spend even one comfortable night there!

Fabulous bathroom facility.

Bedroom quite small and absolutely needed a cooling air conditioner, the pedestal fan just moved the hot air around.

Wont be back.

Was traveling for work that requires a tax invoice. Booking .com said when i booked that i could get a gst receipt when i arrived. When I asked the owner he said he didn't need to give me a gst number as he didn't earn more than $60k PA. If he cannot offer this, he shouldn't be on Booking .com.

Excellent place to stay if travelling from AKL to Cape Reinga.

the room is very cosy and lovely, located just a few minutes away from the town centre. It's a good choice for the traveller who is taking a break in the middle of the trip.
