Amazing view from the bedroom and Elizabeth was really friendly. The bed was really comfy and we had everything we needed in the room.
The chickens were an added bonus!
The unfinished road wasn't a problem
Unfortunately one of the days it didn't stop raining and the main part of the kitchen is a few steps outside. This added to the quirkyness but not good if you wanted to cook using more than a microwave
It wouldn't stop me returning tho

Elizabeth has created an amazingly peaceful and charming getaway amongst the hills with views to die for.
The very long unsealed road to the property is at times very narrow but manageable.

Absolutely beautiful little corner of the world, me and my boyfriend loved this place. Elizabeth was so friendly and so we're the chickens. Felt very private, we're able to cook and relax whilst also being a good distance from Paihia and Russell for our day trips. Definitely recommend - 5 stars

Stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The location is very secluded and peaceful and the view is just amazing. The room/ sleep out in itself was wonderful too - very cozy and well equipped.
