Needs to add curtains in the living room for privacy.

The home owner was great, super friendly and respectful of my privacy, he answered all my questions politely and on time, the guest house very clean and comfortable.

I really enjoyed the guest house itself (Airbnb) , it’s a beautiful space. The balcony is extremely spacious, I loved that they added a station area to make a coffee in the morning, I loved how big and open it is , I loved the led lighting in the airbnb and the massive TV that provided streaming sights. The bed is incredibly comfy and provides space to fit two adults. I am very thankful that they also have extra blankets just in case you are cold as I have the worst body warmth and need coverage. I didn’t have the opportunity to try there massage chair they had in the airbnb but my family members who had come over for a little bit had loved it! The water pressure in the shower was amazing aswell , the bathroom was nice and provided the necessities you need (towels , hand towels , shampoo , body wash) The family that owns the house itself were lovely people especially the husband , he is genuinely a down to earth fella with a great sense of humor. This was my first time booking an airbnb, I will definitely say I don’t regret booking this one as my first. I definitely will be staying again if I find myself back in whangarei.

I will say that the living room area is very open , everyone can see inside and what you are doing in that specific area, only reason why I found that a little tough was because at night time, I got scared as the living room faces a bunch of trees and bushes as well as the street , I wasn’t too sure if someone was watching me (I am scared of the dark) so maybe some curtains would come in handy to solve that for any future tenants that also have the same fears as me lol. Jokes aside though , very wonderful owners , I do love the concept they were going for , the living room area looks so nice from the outside looking in.
