Budget accommodation

A cheap place to stay

The hotel is part of a bar, but we were lucky as we stayed during the new year so it was largely quiet. The hotel is in a corner site with a thoroughfare car park at the back. I got disturbed a few times at night as people came by and yelled in the car park. The hotel is poorly maintained with broken glass, moulded curtains and rundown bathroom.

I was very disappointed with the accomodation and unfortunately could not recommend it to anyone.

The room was very tired looking and in need of a good painting. It was very noisy with being near a busy junction. There was no tea and coffee facilities in the room or any cups or cutlery. The bathroom only had a blind over of one the windows which may you feel very exposed when getting ready for a shower. The shower head fell off when I was in the shower and there was no plug in the sink. The small kitchen was unclean and very untidy and I was only able to find one cup which I needed to wash.

Close to fast food venues.

Noise from traffic, neighbours and everyone else in the building. No a/c so fan had to suffice. Only one power point in room which the fan was plugged into. Couldn't open the windows for cooling due to all the traffic noise outside.

Don’t stay here

Location was central and noisy. People talking all night and you could hear through the walls.

After reading reviews I should have not penny pinched. Nothing was good about this stay. Staff were quick to tell you what you can’t do not helpful. Room was disgusting I cleaned it, rubbish under bed, smelt of urine, felt like bed had bed bugs I was itching all night, floor was grubby, tv didn’t work, shower was disgusting I didn’t stay the 2nd night and would never go back even the bar downstairs looked and smelt disgusting. Don’t stay I think owners are very lazy

I did not have breakfast at the hotel. Or any meals for that matter. I went out for eating. So I have no idea what the food was like there. I did not even have a drink there , so I didn't eat or drink at the hotel.

Kamo was a bit far out. No buses running on a Sunday is a strange thing for a city, it is probably the only city in the country that buses don't run on a Sunday. The other days the buses where great

The location was the best part about this property.

Every thing. The cleanliness was below average. The state of the building/ room was shocking. The hygiene of the room was questionable. Blood or very dark spots on the mattress. We both have developed full body itchiness and this only started from today. 0/10 ratings for the condition of this place.

Nice and handy to town. Plenty of parking. Plenty of food places nearby. Above a pub!

Terrible - felt incredibly unsafe and the room was really low quality.

The location is good.

The room was very outdated. The sheets smelled very musty and the bathroom curtain was completely covered in mould. You can also climb from your bathroom straight into the neighbours bathroom (major security issue). One of the staff working there (in the room next to mine) put his arm into my bathroom window right after I’d had a shower. After I made it very clear I was in the bathroom, he poked his head out of the other bathroom and started pulling at my window, trying to get in. After making a complaint to the manager, I was given three different excuses. I demanded my money back, which they sorted. It was very clear their staff member was up to something and got caught out. Absolutely disgusting service and will never stay here, again. The manager also enabled this behaviour by making excuses for their staff.
