Not value of money - expensive and offers no comfort -

It was close to the town centre and a local pub across the road.

The mattress was really poor quality so we both got up with bad back pain. It’s two single beds put together to create a double. The bathroom was awful I’m 5’11 and had to bend in the shower to fit. The extraction is minimal and the property smelled of must and was very very cold on arrival . The towels and our wet clothes did not dry out over night. The duvet was too small and flimsy for the bed, In general Not the cleanest or freshest!!!!!!!

Awful experience, dirty apartment, had to relocate.

Ease of access via keysafe

This apartment was filthy on arrival. Dirty towels strewn across the bathroom, dirty kitchen, full bins, urine still in toilet and not even a toilet roll in sight. Phoned host and stay, the rental company and was told they would try and find a housekeeper to clean up, then nothing after several calls. Found out next morning they had cancelled the booking at 9.30pm on the first night of a 2 night stay without having the courtesy of a call to inform us so. Had to relocate and pay for alternative accommodation, then had a 3 week battle to get a refund. Eventual refund made without any notification of them doing so, obviously pained them greatly. Use ‘host and stay’ at your peril. Disgraceful.

Potentially a pleasant apartmetn but needs easy to operate heating and better kitchen equipment.

Location good; apartment pleasant but problems:

- no written instructions - no heating (I contacted owner to get central working but the instructions provided failed to get it working) - very poor quality cooking pans - a leaky tap - smart TV programs kept freezing probably due to weak wife

Disappointing flat not in keeping with advertising photographs.

Huge bed just as well as we didn't know where the bedding was to make up the sofa bed. Mother and 2 adult daughters fitted in fine!

Poorly maintained flat. Low standard of cleanliness. Sofa very stained. Wall paper peeling from the wall. No instructions on how to operate central heating, tv and wifi, or where to find bedding to make up the sofa bed. Noisy boiler located in the bedroom. Lack of clarity on provision of toiletries and toilet roll insufficient amount left for 3 guests for 2 nights. 2 bath towels 1 hand towel for 3 guests. Towels stained and hard. Dismissive attitude from host when asking for customer service. Poor guest experience in terms of preparedness for our stay and provision of basic facilities. Host dismissive of customer concerns when raised.

Very unhappy with stay

location, double bed was big, check in process was easy, small touches like having soap, washing up liquid etc was excellent.

Boiler was constantly running, couldn't adjust thermostat. Toilet seat was broken on arrival. Sofa bed was stained and filthy when opened bed to use and had broken legs. Felt bad making my children sleep on it. The blanket on top of sofa smelled . Complained first night but nothing was rectified even though was told host would be informed. Left one night early as very unhappy.

At first the heating didn't heat up for 2 hours a day. But we adjusted the thermostat and it was perfect. We have nothing to complain about.

A fab apartment in a beautiful town

The location was great. Very handy for the centre of town and not far from the bus stop. The interior of the apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. The shutters were a great feature! I would definitely come again.

Do not stay here! Bad experience and unprofessional host

There’s a BOILER in the bedroom and gas smell stronger and stronger! Had to sleep in the living room and sofa is feel like a cardboard box. Tried to call whatever number they gave me on email and nobody answered the phone. I emailed them and tell them what happened and they get back to me around 8:30pm asking me if i can find new place to stay for that night and check out from this property but of course that was impossible to find a new hotel/place at that time. They said they will give me a refund but they didn’t! It’s been 4 days since I checked out

Disappointing.

The location was great.

There was major construction going on to the property below and to the entrance to of the apartment block. There was drilling and banging from 7am on both days my partner and I stayed there. we came away for a few days away for my partners birthday however we left feeling very tired. when I notified the owner they said they were unaware of building works which I don’t believe, as there is a sign on the main door and all the steps are partially dug up. they didn’t offer me later check out or anything for the inconvenience.

Great Location but unclean

Location, 5 min walk to Montpelier

Cleanliness was poor to say the least. Dust everywhere, dirty spare pillows in the airing cupboard which clearly hadn’t been washed from previous guests, property stunk of smoke and just generally felt dirty. Upon arrival I had to go out to buy cleaning products which after a 4 hour train journey, was the last thing I wanted to do. Such a shame as great location and could be a really nice apartment.

How unclean it was like obviously had a cleaner come in but they must only do the basic clean because things was still very dirty and not covid safe cupboards haven't been wiped down and things under the sofa what other guests have left fridge was falling apart and coffee machine doesn't work

Ground floor flat in a good location, with some issues regarding supplies.

The flat was clean, the furniture is clearly new. Checking in to the property was a smooth experience. A flatscreen TV with a Netflix subscription was a very pleasant bonus. Customer support was quick to respond.

I was surprised to find out that the flat is on the ground floor - the description never mentioned it. In the bedroom, two single beds were pushed together to form a big bed, which made it really uncomfortable to sleep on the middle (a mattress protector would have helped). There was no liquid/capsules for the washing machine so I couldn't use it. Customer support didn't help me resolve this issue. + previous tenants forgot to empty the bin.

Pleasant Stay

Good location, not far from the centre was a nice weekend away. We were sceptical about the £200 damage deposit initially but it was returned in full. Some reviews made us nervous about the stay, but overall it was pleasant. Acceptably clean, although not spotless. Very basic, and two single beds pushed together. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The neighbouring flats were a little noisy at times, and there is work being done at the front of the property. Skips and building materials looked a little messy but neither bothered us.

Great location

Scaffolding surrounding the building and the entrance hallway is a bit of a building site hasn't been completed yet. However once its all done the block will be lovely. A bit of prewarning would have been appreciated.

Little cosy apartment in a great location.

This was booked a little last minute as we wanted to have a weekend getaway and break. The apartment is very cosy and well decorated in side. There’s everything you need including towels, extra bedding, and all appliances in the kitchen. The apartment is immaculate when it comes to how clean and tidy it is. Very pleased with this and we hope to come back and Stay in Cheltenham very soon.

We were not made aware of the scaffolding outside the apartment as this was not mentioned on the booking.
