A remarkable place to stay…unique, cosy, local, stunning!

Everything! This was a fabulous experience! It is a wonderful area, walking distance to everything. The Werfkelder is remarkable, we could see boats and geese go past the door. Sitting outside to eat in the freezing was well worth it! It is a beautiful space with gorgeous furniture and everything you could ever need. A fridge, coffee machine, egg cooker, games, books, candles… it was perfect!!!!

Unique experience in an amazing location

Very well located. Easy to access. It’s a very unique experience to stay in the canal. 100% recommend. It’s warm and cozy with a comfortable bed and nice comforters.

There is a slight smell of humidity. But it’s expected as the cellar is underground.

Nice warm place

kitchen was too small and shower area was small and poorly lit. steps leading down to the accomaodation were steep and we dont know about it. carrying lugage up the steps were little difficult

Once in a lifetime experience

If there is 100, I would rate it 100/100. Great hospitality, collect keys from the host and the canal House is just opposite. Unique place and Gosh, the view to die for. My 2 teenage kids and myself loves it so much, we actually take away food to eat at outside of our canal House for breakfast and dinner. Even for winter, it's so lovely to hang outside. The place is equipped with clean and proper shower and hot water supply which is important for winter. Got microwave, kettle and coffee machine which the host supply some coffee, cappuccino , teas & hot chocolate for us. Minutes to supermarket and we walk to the Utrecht station about 10-15 min, which is a lovely walk to look at the town along the way. Spacious for the 3 of us. The place got some info of the town and some board games which we had a great time playing the monopoly Utrecht version and chess. Lovely town of Utrecht, plenty to do here and chill. Definitely worth the money and a great memories for us. Highly reconmended to stay here for one of a lifetime experience. Saw a rent a canoe place just opposite the canal House but too bad it's close for winter, I can imagine we having a great time canoeing along the canal. Thanks for the welcome fruits from the host. Thanks again for the amazing experience.

I spend a weekend with my friends, we were 4 in total, and the apartment was perfect, cozzy, confortable, really good located, views, the owner live next to you, and we asked for somethings aboutbthe beds through the app and he came right 5 min after to show us, if i ever go back to Utrecht ,this will be my very first option to stay over, for sure.

Accommodation with a special atmosphere

Central location, easy to find it, parking not far from Werfkelder. Perfect atmosphere clos to Oudegracht canal. We had the breakfast oudside, seeng the boats passing and we even saw 3 ladies sweeming down the canal.The owner was kind and helpful. I recommend it.

Perfect stay, wonderful atmosphere

We loved the location, the surrounding, the flat beside the kindness and flexibility of the hosts. The glass wall and door allowed us to enjoy the view of the canal from the warm room in the cool mornings while sitting in the comfy armchairs or we could also choose the wharf, decorated with candles, sitting next to the fire basket wrapped in good warm blankets. Wonderful atmosphere! We liked the coffee from the coffee machine we could serve ourselves and thanks for the fruits on our arrival. The provided list of the nearest cafes and other info was very useful also. I can say, everything was perfect. Thank you for providing the opportunity to spend memorable days in this beautiful city!

Perfect place for a short stay

We had a great time in Marieke and Casper Werfkelder. It is carefully designed, very clean and provided with all equipment. We especially liked the comfortable bed, the quietness at night, to sit outside watching boats passing by with a glas of wine in our hands and a pampering blanket on our lap, by the open fireplace. Thank you!

De plek, midden Utrecht aan de gracht. Alles zag er verzorgd uit, en ook alles wat je nodig zou hebben, was aanwezig. En ook de hartelijke ontvangst vonden we heel erg fijn.

Super Lage, außergewöhnliche Ferienwohnung, alles super

Die Lage ist super toll! Sehr nah an allem, Shops, Cafés, Restaurants. Die Wohnung ist ein ehemaliger Kaikeller, sodass man direkt vor der Tür eine der Grachten hat. Man kann direkt am Wasser sitzen mit Tisch und Stühlen vom Gastgeber. Der ist sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Casa accogliente, ottima posizione. Tutto pulito e nuovo (letto, divano, lenzuola e asciugamani). Panorama affascinante! Proprietario adorabile, disponile, simpatico e gentilissimo. Ci hanno fatto trovare una selezione di tea, caffe e anche frutta!

Sarebbe perfetta se aggiungessero delle piastre elettriche per cucinare.
