Apartment was very well appointed and equipped. We used the wellness room and it was also great. I would highly recommend staying at this property. I wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of it!

Perfect!

Everything was perfect, would recommend staying, gym laundry and kitchen was well equipped. Much better than staying in bled town, short walk to the lake. Highly recommend

Wonderful place to stay

Excellent location high up above lake bled, quiet and with great views, but only short but steep walk down to the lake where you could swim and hire boats to the island. The appt was very clean, fully equipped, comfortable, everything worked well and lots of extras. We ate at the appt several nights and it was easy to prepare food there. Everything you could need - even in poor weather it was easy to spend time there. The jacuzzi and sauna were lovely. Bed rooms and sitting room were very comfortable. The appt had lots of different sitting spaces inside and out. Two terraces with big tables were both great places to sit and eat, read and enjoy the sun. As well as a clothes washer in the appt, there was a laundry room with dryer. Could not fault this place.

Really nothing. A tiny point - the what's app communication on the phone number given didn't seem to work, so I communicated directly through booking.com. all very easy and worth the cost.

I recommend it to everyone, modern, large, everything new, quiet, you can park your car very close.

Very modern, everything is new and spacious, cars can park about 1 meter from the door, which is covered, quiet area. The lake and its surroundings are about a 5-minute walk away.

My brother was in the other apartment, which had a microwave oven, but ours didn't, which was a missing feature because we would have used it. Of course, there is a regular induction hob and an oven for heating things up, but a microwave is still easier and you don't have to wait when you want to heat something up quickly.

Excellent stay!

The location was perfect. A lovely quiet spot above the lake. The rooms were spacious and the overall decoration of the apartment is lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Sadly, the weather was on and off rain for our visit but they even provided us with umbrellas. So that was very handy!

There isn't really a food shop close by. That's not the fault of this apartment (obviously!) but just worth noting if you are without a car! The nearest small shop where you can food is about 15/20 min walk. or there are many other options in driving distance.

With in easy reach of the castle and lake and a great out of the way spot from Bled centre

The parking was excellent, we managed to park a SUV, a Motorcycle trailer and two motorbikes in the space provided right in front of our door, which was excellent for security. Tina was quick to assist when required and gave clear instructions to follow, allowing for a smooth stay.

Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy at night, whether it was people in the gym next door or moving furniture above our apartment, all of the scrapes and bangs resonated through the building. It didn't spoil our stay as we were out most of the time, but it was a bit irritating as we went to bed around 23:00. Not the host's fault, but more of a construction problem, sound just travels from apartment to apartment easily.

Very very happy with the Villa

Great location (20 mins walk to Lake). Lakeview Villa is a clean, modern, spacious apartment on two levels - first floor has a kitchen, living room, and a lovely terrace / balcony where we ate breakfast everyday in the glorious sunshine with views over magical Lake Bled, while 2nd floor has the three bedrooms. Views from the master bedroom are unbelievable. All beds are comfortable. Top marks also for air-conditioning as the weather was 34 C at end June - and having a good supply of towels. Tina (the host) is very responsive to any queries - excellent client service. Highly recommended.

One of the bedrooms is in the loft space overlooking the master bedroom so no real privacy between the master bedroom and the loft bedroom (not great for adults sharing the combined space but as we are family we found this okay). As the Villa is such a lovely apartment it is such a minor point.

NO air conditioning

Spacious, well decorated, well equipped, comfortable. Location is quiet.

The ground floor unit we stayed in dies NOT have air conditioning despite saying it does in the listing. I specifically wanted this so paid a higher rate - could have stayed somewhere cheaper if I had known!

Well appointed apartment in a calm tranquil location.

The apartment was very well presented, modern and fully equipped. We didn't make use of the Gym/ Sauna so can't comment upon that. It says it's a three bedroom apartment, in fact one sleeping area is a mezzanine above the main bedroom. This wasn't a problem to us as we were a group of 5 adults, but some may find that this is not what they expected. The view from the apartment is great, and I would argue is at the best side of Lake Bled as it's away from the main tourist hotels. It is in close proximity to the Bled Jezero rail station, though be warned it means a climb up stairs and steep paths to reach the apartment road if you are arriving by train. There is a great little bar adjacent to the rail station and a superb restaurant in a Hotel nearby. It is a quiet tranquil area.

On arrival we were 'on foot' from the railway, and finding the apartment was a little challenging (dragging cases especially!) as we did not expect the topography to be quite as steep as it turned out! My advice is get a taxi from Lesce Bled station. A detail map of the immediate vicinity at the apartment would be a great addition for future guests. There was nothing that you would dislike and nothing to criticise about the accommodation.

The apartment was lovely and very comfortable. It is located on a quiet road that has stunning views of the lake and surrounding areas. The wellness/spa room was a wonderful way to unwind after long hikes.

Ideal place with a great view of the lake.

It’ was a great place to stay with all facilities - kitchenette / laundry options/ sauna and jacuzzi to relax/ very close to the Bled jezero (train station) sadly when we were the there the train station was not functioning due to repair works but they had bus service to replace that. If you want something quite and a little away from the main Centre .. this would be an ideal choice.

The location was great. in short distance from everything but very quiet and out of the city. Very pleasant apartment with all the facilities. very clean, the kitchen is nice and with all required utilities. It was very easy to communicate with the host- both before and during the stay.

Would recommend but would help if the rooms were better explained

The property has a fantastic view of Lake Bled - the location is great. It is all very new with nice furnishings and a kitchen with lots of amenities. The balconies are lovely to sit out on and enjoy the view.

We found the description of the bedrooms misleading and would not have booked if it had been clearer. It is advertised as 3 bedrooms which would have worked for us. However it is only 2 bedrooms - one room has a double and single. The other room has a double and then a mezzanine floor with a double and single on it ie 5 people in the same room. This layout did not work well for us but might work for others with young children.

Disappointing stay

The apartment is good in general, but it has some serious flaws that made me give it a 5: 1) it does not have a black out curtain or a blind to prevent morning light from entering. 2) few electrical outlets, especially around the bed. 3) the bed is in a position where one side is against the wall, making access difficult. 4) the shower head is poorly installed, fixed in a very low and uncomfortable position. 5) poor ventilation, because there is no windows, just the front door and small openings at the back 6) don't be fooled by the lake proximity that the map can show. In fact, to go to the lake, it is necessary to take a much longer trip around the train line that runs between the property and the lake. These are the main dislikes, but also check in is 4pm. Quite late compared to most properties Less important but annoying, the TV remote was not working.

Perfect holiday at Lake Bled

The accommodation felt so luxurious with amazing views from the main bedroom and living area. There was so much space and everything we needed. We were two families of three, and it was perfect. The location was great, being close enough to walk to the lakeside, near the train station, and not so busy as Bled itself and it had onside parking. We cooked dinner every night and were able to eat on the veranda on some occasions. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the dish washer made life easy. We didn't struggle at all with only one shower room as there were two other toilets available. The addition of the wellness centre was much appreciated. Especially the sauna for our aching legs after walking around the lake and up in the local trekking tracks. On the whole, a wonderful holiday had by us all. Thank you.

Disappointing stay

The apartment was well equipped, clean & comfortable & it was in a good location. The bathroom was lovely. The bed was up against the wall on one side which made it awkward for getting in & out & also couldn't have a glass of water that side. If you don't have a car it's about a 20 minute walk to Lake Bled town. It would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems though as there are a couple of steep areas to navigate. It would have been helpful to have information/ instructions on some of the equipment. We never did find the air-conditioning switch! There was a welcome pack which was a nice touch. The owner, Tina, communicated well at all times.

The allocated outside seating area for this apartment was tiny & set literally behind the rubbish bins which are screened but, its not the best!! No outside table either. We used the area reserved for parking infront of the apartment to sit out when we could..There was no view which was disappointing. We only discovered this when Tina sent the details of access & general information a couple of days before our stay. The one major thing that spoilt our stay was the building project in a house virtually opposite. For someone staying 1 night it wouldn't have impacted quite so much but, we stayed 5 & it wasn't good. Builders arrived at 6.30 -7.00 am were loud in conversation & then the grinding sawing machines started at 7.00 am. It was impossible to sit out & enjoy the normal tranquility of the place. Whilst this is no fault of the owner, I feel we should have been made aware that our stay could possibly be disrupted by this.& then we could have made an informed choice of whether to stay there or not.

Check in is 4pm. Quite late compared to most properties Instructions for appliances would have been useful. Not the owners fault, but would also have been helpful to know about the building works going on in a new property being built opposite . 7am start and lots of sawing and grinding that went on all day! Beautiful, but security needs to improve

The unit is beautiful- very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The sauna and fitness center are also very clean and convenient. Wonderful view of the lake and mountains outside.

Needs improvement for security and privacy- there was a sliding door in the unit that was locked when we got there, but one morning we thought we heard it slide open and closed (we were in the kitchen where we couldn’t see door). Upon investigation, we realized that the door could be unlocked with our room key on our side and opened into a stairwell with a large cushion blocking the entire doorway at the top. What’s worse, we found that the door could be locked/unlocked without a key on the other side (see photo)- meaning someone very well may have come down the stairwell and opened the door into our unit. We felt quite uncomfortable after realizing this. The apartment is gorgeous and we were thrilled with it upon arriving, so it’s a shame that this is the case. Also, one night we were locked out of the laundry room by someone leaving their key in the door, so we were unable to take advantage of that amenity.

Exceptional

The apartment at Lakeview Villa Bled had everything we needed for our stay; linen, toiletries, launderette facilities with washing products to use and more. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. The apartment was clean, light, quiet and had ample space for the two of us to move around comfortably. We enjoyed being the opposite side of the lake to the main town of Bled as it was quieter, the walk to the town took us a maximum of 20 minutes, which we enjoyed doing everyday. Everything about our stay was perfect, we got to do and enjoy so much during the days we stayed at Lakeview Villa. Our host Tina was brilliant with communication, we were picked up from the airport which helped us enormously, and she was able to give us helpful tips and advice for our stay. We would love to return again and would definitely recommend our family and friends to contact Lakeview Villa if they planned on visiting Slovenia for a holiday.
