Apartmaji Baron

The apartment was very spacious and cozy. It had a lovely balcony, perfect for spending the evening looking at the stars. The location was also great, very close to Lake Bled. Having a bakery nearby was a real bonus – a perfect place to get fresh bread and traditional desserts. The host was very nice and welcoming too.

Maybe an additional bonus would be having a washing machine. It would be very convenient, especially for guests staying for longer holidays.

Comfortable rooms. Spacious apartment which is equipped. We were able to check in earlier than normal time which was really helpful. Excellent bakery literally across the road. About a 20 minute walk to Lake Bled. Quite location. Very near - 10min walk- to the Vintar Gorge P&R where you can catch the free shuttle to get to the gorge.

We had no car, and it's not great if you don't have a car. We arrived by bus and although Davorin sent a bus timetable that goes past the apartment, it was every 2 hours and the next bus to take was in 2 hours time. It's not walkable with luggage from the main Bled town station to the apartment. For our stay, to walk to Castle bay bathing area, it's 30 minutes and more so if you want to go to Bled town - which is fine for myself and my family as we don't mind walking. It is though only 20 minute from Mala Zaka bathing area. I think one day we did try to get a bus into town, but it never came - so don't rely on buses. In addition, though the apartment is equipped, despite listing toiletries, there was only hand soap. No shower gel, shampoo etc. Which I noticed was picked up on other reviews prior to our visit, Davorin has said - thank you for your feedback on the reviews, but hasn't acted on it which is a shame. For a 4 night stay, we were only given 2 toilet rolls for a family of 3, so that felt a little stingy. None the less, it was a decent accommodation outside of Lake Bled.

Davorin was incredibly helpful. Property is across the street from a bakery. Wonderful wraparound balcony on upper floor apartment! Large space, very comfortable. Easy parking right in front of building. Nice kitchen. Love the espresso machine and espresso pods. Huge flatscreen TV.

No soap or shampoo provided in shower. No salt or pepper.

We had the appartement in the groundfloor. Check-in was very easy and the host was friendly and helpfull. The area is very calm and the lake is a 10-15 min. walk away. The appartement is rather cool, what is an advantage in the hot summer season.

We expierencied a strong smell in the bedroom and found plenty of mold as the source. The appartement's walls appeared to be thin, so you can hear the neighbours talking on the phone (depending on the neighbours).
