Very pleasant and relaxing place to stay!

Quiet, inviting, family-run homestay. Beautiful garden. Very friendly and helpful host. Fantastic location near the lake and a 20 minute walk to town.

We liked everything. Guests should just be aware of the shared bathroom and narrow stairs leading to the upper floor.

Fairy tale and time travel

Beautiful, hundred years old fairy tale house directly at the banks of Lake Bled. Nice garden, no close neighbours, peace and quiet. It is a real time travel to the old days of this spectacular destination. Perfect for a family trip. The owner and host, Vito is one of the kindest we’ve ever met, helpful, informative and very welcoming. Thanks for everything, we’ll come back!

Heaven in Bled!

The location was better than you could imagine. The house was cosy and equipped with all we needed. Our host, Vito was excellent, very welcoming.

Nice stay overall, but a little below expectations

The house is an old building very close to the lake in a very quiet spot. The location is really excellent. Vito himself is very friendly and helpful.

Unfortuntely, the house is old and our room was upstairs. Despite Vito boasting about the 100 years old staircase, the latter didn't appear very practical nor comfortable. The wooden floor of the attic is very thin and old, so very squeeky and noisy. Same for the bed, itself not too comfy. The bathroom was shared and this was not specified on Booking.

We had a great time at Lake Bled and Homestay Vito by the Lake made it a very special experience.

The location of this place is amazing, just a few steps away from the lake. The host was really helpful and welcoming. The house has got a very peaceful atmosphere.

Peaceful homestay in perfect location!

This is a lovely home surrounded by agricultural fields and just a short walk from the shores of Bled Lake - close to both Bled Castle and the point to get boats to the island. Since it’s off the main path around the lake, it is very quiet - day and night. I stayed in the small bedroom upstairs and enjoyed the common bathroom - which was equipped with a nice mix of shower gels and shaving cream allowing me to shave for the first time in a week! I enjoyed meeting the host Vito who arrived early to greet me, a very friendly chap

amazing location, but be prepared for a though night with little privacy

amazing location, 2min walk from beach, 25min walk to village center. Nice owner

It’s a little bit run amateuristic and in old state, which could be charming. The floors are squeaking, shared bathroom where tap was loose, doors of rooms not closing because they’re old. Not much privacy in this place. But the worst were the mosquitos. It was hot, no fan provided, and no protection in the windows. With closed windows they still got in.

Lovely place

The location is wonderful, the house is lovely, very good to go to the center and have a bath in the lake that is really near. Vito is easy going and can give good advices for your stay.

You have to accept the common bathroom, one for two rooms.

Exceptional

Host was extremely welcoming, and helpful. Location 11/10 points. The beach is literally right there, a few steps from the house. In the reviews people wrote about cleanliness being a problem. I did not expirience that at all, it was very clean. Host made upgrades in the rooms, and it really feels like it is your home while you are staying there.

The only downside would be that you share a bathroom with the guests in the other room. BUT, for the friendly and ready to help host, and the amazing location - totally worth it.

One of the beds was really uncomfortable and also we missed in the hole apartment Garbage cans. Also a towel in the bathroom was missing and there was not enough toiletpaper.

Disappointing

The location by Lake Bled was amazing!!!

Difficult to check in. The space outside is messy - a lot of random items sitting around and it looks messy. There is a huge swarm of bees on one side of the property. A lot of smoke smell from other clients. The shared bathroom has a part of the wall missing and that means that the bathroom does not feel private at all. Very unpleasant! Also, there were not enough towels and even though I asked, they were not provided. I also asked for a mug for coffee in the morning and it was never provided (though I asked in the late afternoon so that I would have for morning).

Very good location - 5 min walk to the lake. Apartments are quite clean inside.

We've lived in the room upstairs and the bathroom downstairs - not so convenient with kids. There were no towels in the apartment. However, the host has arranged the towels upon request. Also there was no fridge in the room, though the host has kept our food in the fridge downstairs.

I had to share a bathroom and sit down to take a shower. it would have been nice to have a small refrigerator to put food and beverage. Also and I mentioned to Vito that a comfortable chair would be lovely.

Only location

The whole house smells of cigarettes, rooms as well. You can not take a shower. And in the bathroom wall next the toilet is big hole. The refrigerator and TV are not in the room, they are privat. And you are not alone in house.

Ubicación, muy cerca del lago y a un paseo de Bled

Cuidado al reservar, hay un apartamento completo y aparte dos habitaciones con baño compartido. El baño equipado con lavabo pequeño, inodoro y bañera incomoda es definitivamente insuficiente para 6 personas- 2 habitación pequeña y 4 habitación grande-. Teníamos la habitación grande, equipada con una mini nevera, un calentador de agua para el te y 4 tazas y 4 cucharillas que hay que fregar en el baño compartido. No hay lugar para colgar las toallas húmedas. La habitación contaba con una terraza con 4 sillas viejas. La limpieza era mejorable.
