Vila Savica Bled

Situé en demi sous-sol, en rez-de-jardin, le grand appartement - flambant neuf et très bien équipé - que j'ai occupé est réellement fantastique: très plaisant, très confortable, bien climatisé, offrant beaucoup de place dans toutes les pièces avec une superbe salle de bains, une superbe cuisine, et une belle terrasse privative en pleine campagne. Il mérite 11/10 !! Parking privé, situation proche de la ville, tout en évitant les embarras du centre de Bled, car un bon supermarché est à l'entrée de la ville. Evidemment il faut être motorisé.

L'absence totale de contact avec l'hôte, qui ne répond pas aux messages, même lorsqu'on soulève des problèmes, qu'il faut alors résoudre seul sans pouvoir compter sur son aide. Même pas au niveau d'un chatbot. C'est pour cela que j'ai baissé la note globale de 10 (voire 11 !) à 9. Quand à l'hôte(sse) il (elle) mérite un carton rouge, même si sa compétence en conception et en organisation ne fait pas de doute.

At walking distance to the main attractions in Bled (Bled Castle, Lake Bled). The place was clean and had everything you might need for a few days' family stay (well, except a washing machine, which I don't even add to the "don't like" section since the hosts didn't claim in the location description that they have it). Anyway, overall a great place to stay if you want to spend a few days and enjoy a full Bled experience.

This location has two rooms where you can sleep: one is the main bedroom and the other is the living/kitchen. There are no shades or blackout curtains in the living/kitchen, so for people sensitive to light when sleeping, that can be inconvenient. Also, you need to pay a lot of attention when taking a shower if you don't want the full bathroom floor to be covered in water. More like a small annoyance, nothing serious.

Overall, we had a good stay. The property is modern, very clean, easy to find, and offers convenient parking. It is a good option for travelers looking for a comfortable and practical place to stay. The self-check-in process was straightforward, and collecting the keys was easy. We never met any staff during our stay, but the instructions provided were clear enough to manage everything independently. There is a reception area in the building, although it did not appear to be staffed during our visit. The building feels new and well maintained. Our studio apartment was modern, clean, and well equipped. The bed was especially comfortable, and the mattress, bed linens, and towels all appeared very new and were spotless. Cleanliness was one of the strongest aspects of this property. Parking is available directly at the property, which is very convenient. Despite a few downsides, we appreciated how clean, modern, and comfortable* the property was (*the bed was nice), the location was easy to access, parking was simple, and the overall experience was positive. With a few improvements to sound insulation, blackout curtains, and the bathroom design, this would be an even better place to stay.

Parking is entirely outdoors with no covered spaces, so vehicles remain exposed to the sun throughout the day. Because the building has little shade from nearby structures, cars can become extremely hot during warmer months. There were a few aspects that could be improved. The main issue for us was noise. The doors throughout the building seem to have self-closing mechanisms that cause them to shut quite forcefully. As a result, we could regularly hear doors banging loudly, guests walking/talking in the hallways, and movement on the stairs. Additional sound insulation or softer door-closing mechanisms would significantly improve comfort. Another important point is the curtains. The room has two large windows, which provide plenty of natural light, but the curtains do not function as blackout curtains. One curtain was slightly shorter than the window, and neither blocked sunlight effectively. Guests who are sensitive to light may find this problematic, particularly because the room receives a significant amount of sun. The strong sunlight also causes the room to heat up quickly during the day. While the air conditioning helps, thermal blackout curtains would improve both comfort and temperature control. The bathroom design is modern but not particularly practical. The shower area has only a partial glass divider, which means water easily spreads across much of the bathroom floor during use. The towel warmer was not working during our stay, making it more difficult to dry the bathroom afterward. We ended up relying on the bathroom ventilation system to help dry the space. Leaving the bathroom window tilted open overnight means lots of insects into the room. We learned this the hard way and would recommend keeping the window closed or installing an insect screen. A minor suggestion would be to add some shelter over the entrance area.
